Exciting updates for 2026! Guests can now add pool heat and savor a brand new volleyball net for even more outdoor fun.

This striking semi-soundfront 7-bedroom home located in the Village of Salvo on Hatteras Island; this home is sure to give you a great vacation! Located in the premiere soundfront community, Wind Over Waves, which features a community boardwalk, use of the public boat dock for guests to take their boat out into the Pamlico Sound, and deeded oceanfront beach access across the street.

You will be amazed by the sound vistas this home provides and the proximity to the water is sure to please everybody. (Note: We ask that you adhere to private property signs and only utilize the water access listed as Wind Over Waves property.) Grab your towels and beach gear and walk towards the water for a great day of fun in the sun. Should you prefer to stay at the home, the private outdoor pool will make any day fun - the kids in the group will appreciate the kiddie pool! Additionally, a hot tub is available for use year-round! Shower off in the outdoor shower before making your way inside.

Guests will also appreciate the thoughtful extras included for outdoor enjoyment, including kayaks with paddles, a volleyball net, beach chairs, a beach wagon, additional pool loungers, and additional seating on the balconies.

On the first level of this home, you will find a fun recreation room with a wet bar. For the late-nighttime folks in the group, there are two King En Suites on this level along with a half bathroom for convenience.

Step on up to the second level, to find more bedrooms. It will be a hard to decide between the 3 attractively decorated King En Suites - one with deck access. For the kids - young or old - there is a Bunk En Suite with two twin bunk beds. Anyone who stays in this room will appreciate having the bathroom in the En Suite.

The third level of this striking home contains the living spaces - an broad living area, a huge modern kitchen, dining area for the whole group and yet another King En Suite for those who want to be closer to the coffee in the morning.

Appreciate staying on Hatteras Island and visit some of the attractions which are an painless drive away - especially the Hatteras Island Lighthouse.

This property has six parking spaces for guests.

**Kiteboarding Paradise is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a modest one-time fee of $185, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only. **

Heated Oceanfront Pool: Want added comfort? Consider adding the Heated Pool option! A Heated Pool option can be added upon request for $50 per nighttime of your reservation. This fee is added to your reservation at the time of the request, which must be a minimum of 72 hours before arrival. Pool heat must be added for the entirety of your stay.

This pool is heated by a heat pump. An ambient air temperature of 60 degrees or higher is needed to heat the pool, meaning that if the temperature drops below 60 degrees the pump will not continue to heat. Max pool temperature is 80 degrees.

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.
Check-Out is 10am.

Weekly Discovery Memberships are $100 per person and can be purchased through the Village Beach Club website. KEES guests will receive an exclusive deal after booking your vacation rental for $25 off per person. Kids 2 and under are complimentary.

Parking passes are required for the Village Beach Club. Pricing is dynamic based on demand, with a max. of $15 per day or $45 per week. The Village Beach Club pool is open from May 20 to October 1. The pool is open daily from 8:00am to 7:00pm with lap swimming available from 8:00am to 9:00am.
