This home in Duck, NC is the ideal vacation spot! We traveled to the Duck for 10 years and stayed in Schooner Ridge for 8 before buying in the neighborhood because we adore it so much!
The House is 5BR/3BA with a huge top-level open floorplan, vaulted ceilings & loft, sizable kitchen, plenty of indoor/outdoor living spaces to prepare, gather, relax & relax including enormous deck areas & hot tub!
Did you know that there is no public beach access in Duck? Our home is a 5 min. walk to private beach access including bicycle parking, showers and an outdoor pool!
Guests at Schooner Ridge have wristband access to a rec center with indoor and outdoor pools, tennis court, kiddie pool, playground and gym!
It's an simple walk to the Town of Duck Boardwalk, stores & eateries!
The kitchen is completely supplied including pour over, drip and Keurig coffee makers but we always appreciate a run up to Duck Cottage bookstore and coffee shop for a latte too.

We offer an outdoor grilling space for both gas and charcoal cooking too!
You might be surprised to find that even when it's hot out, the hot tub is invigorating! We appreciate hanging out playing games at the "tiki bar" table while the kids are in the hot tub.
Are you a morning person? Head out to the beach for sunrise and claim your spot on the sand.
Nighttime owl? Head to the beach after sundown with flashlights to go ghost crabbing.
The Town of Duck boardwalk is a great place to be at Sunset- take a walk and savor the view!
We do have some sand toys and a couple of chairs for guest use but recommend you bring what your family likes best.
If you are coming with a big group, you will appreciate the second refrigerator down in the laundry room. It's a great space for overflow food and drinks. *NOTE: We do not provide linens. We will send you a link to a company you can order from if you choose*

About the Area

Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is near the beach. Monument to a Century of Flight and Wright Brothers National Memorial are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Nor'Banks Sailing and Children at Play Museum. Traveling with kids? Consider Paradise Fun Park, or check out an event or a game at Pine Island Racquet & Fitness Center. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
