Both the beach and all the splendors of downtown Duck are within walking distance. The enormous lot is located high in the dunes for striking sunsets and a view of the sound from the top level.

With over 1,000 square feet of decking, there's no shortage of outdoor living space at Salty Duck. Curl up with a book on the comfortable porch swing bed or soak in the hot tub after a long day of fun in the sun. The reverse floorplan and open-concept layout upstairs take full advantage of the water vistas. The living area is charmingly furnished with coastal accents and plenty of seating. A wet bar is ideal for mixing drinks to appreciate outside on the deck during sunset. All four bedrooms are conveniently located on the mid-level, two of which are ensuites. Brush up on your billiard skills in the game room, which provides direct access to the pool area. A second bar downstairs that includes an additional full-size refrigerator, ideal for convenient poolside drinks and snacks.

Salty Duck is located in the Olde Duck Beach community, which provides guests with a private beach access and guest parking at the end of the street Take advantage of the multi-use path that will lead you to the heart of downtown Duck, on foot or bicycle. Stroll along the soundside boardwalk through the Waterfront Stores. From there, head south to Duck Town Park which hosts seasonal events including live music and Movies on the Sound.

About the Area

Located in Kitty Hawk, this vacation home is near the beach. Glazin' Go-Nuts and Wright Brothers National Memorial are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Aqua Spa and The Sanderling Spa.
