Ride the golf cart to the beach. Let the kiddies play in a pool just their size. The Beach Access is a short distance from the Cottage. Locally you can even rent Bicycles & Golf Carts. There are tons of Beach Toys to entertain the kids at the water’s edge. You will find Beach Chairs & an Umbrella for you to Unwind with your toes in the sand. When you return, rinse off the salt in the Outdoor Shower (Hot/Cold). Choose your menu to include something grilled because there’s nothing like a meal cooked on a Charcoal Grille. Savor that meal Al Fresco on the Picnic Table (also a spot to play one of many games supplied) & appreciate reading one of the Beach Reads with your coffee or glass of wine on the Front Porch.

The Oak Island Town Council voted to approve paid parking on the island. The paid parking will be in effect from April 1 through September 30th and the hours are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Please visit the towns site for details on how and where to secure your parking.
