Pappia ( Pah'-pee-ah N. Greek-Duck) is a impressive, well-maintained getaway located in a park-like setting among live oaks, a marine tidal pond and a nature trail. Less than a five min. walk to both the uncrowded beach or to the sound-side dock where the sun sets into Currituck Sound. Enormous upper deck for sunbathing or guests can sip sweet tea under the fans in the screened porch. Conveniences include sound-side outdoor pool/tennis club and broad nature trails. Bikes, beach chairs and beach cart are available.

Open floor plan, wood floors throughout, hi speed internet, cable + streaming TV in all bedrooms. Great room features a cable + streaming HDTV w/ 5.1 surround sound and Sirius XM/Bluetooth music center. Prime, Netflix, HBOMax supplied. Additional TV/DVD/game console in third bedroom. Granite kitchen countertops, double oven, Nutra-Ninja blender, Keurig coffee maker and pancake griddle as well as outdoor Weber Gas grille. Dozens of Disney videos, games and books. Outdoor shower and powder room. Sleeping accommodations: En Suite 1 - 1 king, BR2 - 1 queen, BR3 - 1 trundle with pop-up twin, and a queen sleeper couch in great room. Entirely equipped for a carefree vacation.

Guest Review: This home is not to be missed!! Ideal location for families and kids. Immaculately clean and obviously well cared for. The three bedrooms were very roomy with comfortable beds and pillows, as well as plenty of additional pillows and blankets in the closets. The kids (7 and 11) appreciated sharing the kids room and having their own TV in their bedroom with it's own DVD player. The bathrooms were huge and shining clean. The outside toilet and shower were also very handy. The upstairs was cavernous with comfortable couches, a great kitchen and a very nice deck overlooking the pond and trees. Our favorite part was walking the nature path down to the pond and sitting in the chairs while the kids rode the bicycles on the trail. Spectacular trees, shade and a gorgeous breeze. We also appreciated the beach chairs, kids wagon, bicycles and beach caddy at the home. The beach entrance is literally right around the corner. The kids adored riding their bicycles!! The sound side pool was striking and we spent a great day there. All in all, we have stayed in all areas in the Outer Banks and we have stayed oceanfront, but this was our most favorite home we have ever rented. Thank you Pappia!!
