Fresh, filtered tap water is available via a dedicated faucet at the kitchen sink, as well as through the refrigerator tap water and icemaking system. Steam crabs caught right off the dock, and appreciate dinner with a view in the dining area with seating for 8. Step out onto the deck overlooking the backyard to take in the vistas or watch your 4-legged friend run around and savor their Outer Banks vacation, too!

Colington Harbour also offers boat ramp access, so you can cruise the canals or hit the sound for a fun-filled day on the water!

As Colington Island is in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, you’ll have painless access to a wide array of eateries, grocery stores, and shopping opportunities, as well as many attractions and guest destinations, like the Wright Brothers Memorial. Just a short 10-15 min. drive down Colington Road is the Ocean Bay Blvd. public beach access, the main location for Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue, offering handicapped beach access, public parking, and bathrooms.

Sound Jewel is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing family pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet costs range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.
