Guest Access:

Appreciate hassle-complimentary entry with our Intelligent Lock system. Check-in is at 4 pm, and check-out is at 10 am. You will receive a code 24 hours prior to your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Located in Historic Corolla Village and is a short walk to restored stores, the historic Whalehead mansion, and a guest favorite – the Currituck Beach Lighthouse.



And when you’re ready to dip your toes in the sand, Tranquility is located just a fast 2-min. walk to the beach access. Historic Corolla Village also hosts the Wild Horse Museum, offering memorabilia and souvenirs. All proceeds from the sale of merchandise go directly to protect, preserve, and care for the wild horses.



Just a few mins. north is the entrance to the 4×4 Beach, where you can take a spectacular drive on the sand and possibly catch a glimpse of the wild horses grazing on the beach.



Getting Around:

The closest airport is 2 hours away – Norfolk International Airport. OBX is located about a 5-hour drive from the DC Metro area. If you need concierge or limo service, please contact us. Other available methods of transportation:

★ RENTAL AGREEMENT ★

After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enchanting experience for all events involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the home rules with all events that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everybody" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.



★ GUEST VERIFICATION WITH TRUVI ★

To protect our homes and enhance your tranquility of mind, Sojourn partners with Truvi, a third-event guest verification platform. You’ll receive a direct message from Truvi to complete your verification. Please complete this step before check-in. Visit Truvi’s website to learn more.



★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★

Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.



★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★

Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.



★ POOLS & HOT TUBS ★

The pool is open seasonally from May 15-October 15. The hot tub opens in April 2026.



★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★

All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home.



★ NOT A PET-FRIENDLY HOME ★

We adore those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. Should you bring family pets without obtaining prior permission from the host, there will be a $400 infraction fee, and your stay will be subject to cancellation with no refund and an expedited eviction.



★ NO THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS ★

For the safety and tranquility of our guests and neighbors, we stringently prohibit third-event bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.



★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its condition for future guests and your return visits. We do not accept reservations from individuals under the age of 25, especially for high school or college events.



★ FIREPLACE ★

The fireplace is a impressive decorative feature, meant to add ambiance rather than be used.
