Discover Brooks Island Refuge. It's your unique sound-front vacation destination. Cross a bridge to the modest neighboring island of five homes in Brigands Bay. Four sound-front tons on the tip of Brooks Island deliver privacy, striking vistas, and sound-front water access. Drive your loaded cars into the windsurfing bay where there's plenty of room for rigged sails, kites, and boards. Level one has three bedrooms and a full bath. Level two is splendid living with 10-foot ceilings and a complete entertainment package. The great room is complemented by a completely-equipped kitchen, a breakfast bar, a formal dining area, a half-bath, and a screened porch with a hot tub. Look across the Pamlico Sound to the Canadian Hole from the third-story deck. Retire to level three to one of the two glassed-in main bedrooms, each with a bath, privacy, and tremendous vistas! Brooks Island Refuge is special in Hatteras because you are on the sound, but you have little close to you other than nature. There are many birds in the wetlands and there is a forested island close by. It is a peaceful rental surrounded by water and nature.

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your e-mail. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.



Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in e-mail and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on the weather.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 5 cars.

Dock details: Very shallow - great for kayaks, etc.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
