World class fishing, surfing, kite boarding, sunbathing, beach-combing, and swimming are located right past the beach walkway. Beanie's Bungalow guests receive complimentary seasonal access to Club Hatteras — the island's top spot for family fun, featuring the biggest heated pool, cabanas, showers, a kiddie pool, playground, and picnic area.

The under-home at Beanie's Bungalow provides shade and has full decking with seating, fish cleaning station, marvelous hot/cold shower, and convenient clotheslines. Fire up the charcoal park grille and appreciate laid-back cookouts after a day at the beach. The enormous furnished sundeck above the garage catches every ray of sunshine and accepts for listening to the waves and surf in the close by ocean by day and star gazing by nighttime. Bring the bicycles because Avon is two-wheeler friendly. Did we mention there are two ice cream stores and eateries within walking distance? Beanie's Bungalow is located in a peaceful location in Avon on Hatteras Island with close by local stores, a grocery store, and charter services.

Beanie's Bungalow is simple on the vacationer with only one set of stairs and all rooms located on a single level. The living room in this unique octagon-shaped home has a cathedral ceiling, oceanside chestnut floor, colorful comfortable furnishings, a giant library of books, LED TV/DVD (streaming live TV), games, movies and complimentary FAST internet/WiFi. The kitchen is completely equipped and has all the necessary appliances, a breakfast counter overlooking a huge picture window, and a full-size stacked washer/dryer. The dining area is an addition that opens up the space and produces an abundance of light. The centrally located full bath contains a tub and shower. There are 3 bedrooms: bedroom one contains a queen bed, LED TV (streaming live TV), and a half bath; bedroom two has a queen bed and DVD player; and bedroom three has a twin-over-full pyramid bunk bed. Beanie's Bungalow has great beach décor in every room.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 2 cars. No smoking on premises. Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility; located at 41156 Hwy 12, Avon. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid- through early October (weather permitting and subject to close without notice).
