REVIEW: 'Tons of Fun!'
'We appreciated this beach home! We had a amazing time at 'BLACKBEARD'S TREASURE, COROLLA!' and highly recommend it because it had everything we wanted and in a great location. There was plenty of room for our extended family of 22. The home was clean and very appealing. There are 3 fridges with one downstairs near the pool and grille. The rec room became a gathering place for us because it overlooks the pool and hot tub and has a nice pool table and bar. The pool and hot tub were huge and clean and we used them constantly. The kitchen is enormous with enough seating for everybody. It had everything we needed plus some. The 7 baths were important for us and gave us the privacy we wanted. Plenty of tv's for everybody and there's also music to the decks with a docking station. We were able to watch an evening concert in the park from the decks of the home and had a great view of the lighthouse. There are bicycles to use on the paths along the water and we had fun cycling together. Make sure to check out the museum aquarium in the park , it's complimentary, and climb the lighthouse if you dare. But, the wild horse tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. The park had a kite flying contest for the kids and an arts and craft show during the week. Wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend this beach home!'

Corolla Beach is said to be one of the "Finest Beaches on the East Coast" with uncrowded & pristine beaches that are not steep with dangerous drop off.

Our wide and level beach with tons of sandbars provide a safe and extended playground for all. The village has cozy shopping, activities, & friendly locals. Corolla is an modren island that caters to families. No college frat events to worry about.... just pretty scenery of clean white sand and aqua blue water. Family friendly fun and adventures are within walking distance. The calming village setting and relaxing island pace provide a calming and comforting getaway, ideal for relaxing. Blackbeard's Treasure is across from elegant Heritage Park, one of the most gorgeous areas on the NC coast. The park offers a variety of fun things to do; kite flying, living sea and wild life museum, the historic Whale Head Club, dock, arts exhibits, wine tasting events, as well as festivals, concerts, and Fireworks. The Wild Horse Museum offers kids's activities and pony rides. This Conservatory is dedicated to protecting the 'Wild Horse Preservation'. DNA testing has proven that these majestic horses are descendants of the Spanish King's Royal line which survived the Galleon Shipwrecks during a ferocious storm more than 500 years ago! These Wild Horses still flourish today with Tours available which are usually the highlight of our visitor's vacation. We also have spectacular bicycle and walking trails along the water with complimentary wildlife like Ocean Eagles, Egrets and more. A giant effort has been made to keep Corolla 'Unspoiled' by preventing over commercialism and busy beaches.

Nearby are wild horse tours, jet skiing, and kids racetrack. From sunset to sunrise, relax with relaxing Light House Vistas overhead taking you back to a less rushed time of long ago. This fresh island area is home to the Wild Horse Sanctuary, originating from Spanish Galleon Ship Wrecks 500 years ago. It is said to be one of the Best beaches on the East Coast! Extended sandbars offer safe play areas with shelling! You'll appreciate every moment and create lasting memories with Family and Friends.

Most importantly, unlike beaches to the south that have been eroded and are steep, Corolla beaches are wide. We are not in Duck where it floods and are not in the 4x4 area where high tide restricts getting in and out.
