The Sunset House formerly known as the Banks House is Located in Hatteras Village. This 2 bedroom, 2 bath bungalow, surrounded by Southern Live Oaks, features a sound front deck with charming vistas of Slash Creek/Sandy Bay/Pamlico Sound and fantastic sunsets. Part of the deck is covered to allow enjoyment of the view while keeping cool in the shade.

The 25' long dock is prepared to dock a boat, has a ramp for simple kayak/paddleboard access, and is equipped with a fish cutting table/washdown hose.

The interior of the bungalow has an open living, dining, and kitchen floor plan with 2 sizable glass sliders providing amazing vistas of the sound. Intelligent TV is also in this space. One King bedroom, with full size bathroom ensuite. The 2nd bedroom is a Queen bedroom and has access to a full size bathroom in the hallway. There is also a pullout Queen couch-bed in the Living Room.

Downstairs, the convenient outdoor shower is ideal to rinse away the sand. The beach is a fast walk through the marina, and is accessible through the Hatteras Estates Property Owners Association path, located across from the Hatteras Civic Center.

Access to the bungalow is through the sliding glass door on the deck.
