Looking to get away from the daily grind and out of the hustle and bustle for a little while? Don’t want to sacrifice privacy while doing so? There are a lot of nice waterfront homes on North Carolina’s Outer Banks. However, whether it’s watching scores of dolphins make their way north from inside your humongous great room (or from one of the waterfront decks), taking in the sound of the Atlantic, or swimming, fishing, and/or calming on our wide, uncrowded beach, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a location offering a better combination of vistas and privacy. Being conveniently located near shopping and eateries when you want to venture out is yet another great feature! This home is in relaxing Southern Shores, 1 mile North of the causeway and one mile South of Duck. The ideal location for a family vacation, Southern Shores has marinas, hiking/bicycle trails, tennis courts, and numerous close by golf courses.

The Layout
Upper Level:
- Huge great room with spectacular ocean vistas, plenty of seating for everybody, intelligent tv with cable

Ocean/ Lower Level
- 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have sliding door access to decks leading to the private beach walkway (two suites - one with a King, one with a Queen; one bedroom with w/2 Queens; one bedroom w/2 Twins; and the 5th bedroom w/ 2 bunk sets)
- Sizable garage converted into family/game room with TV, couch, 2nd refrigerator, pool table, foosball, and shuffleboard table
- Laundry area
- Outdoor features include a pool, hot tub, dune top platform, gas and charcoal grilles and two enclosed outdoor showers

* Pool can be heated for an additional $500/week. Pool is closed Nov-Feb.

** From May through early September, there is a 7-nighttime minimum stay and bookings are only accepted from SATURDAY - SATURDAY.

NOTE: Please be advised we require the guest booking the reservation to 1) acknowledge and sign our short-term rental agreement (sample is attached) and; 2) provide a copy of a photo identification (Driver's license or Passport). Please ask if this is unclear!!

CANCELLATIONS - Important: Please review the cancellation policy in the attached short-term rental agreement. It is more accommodating than the standard Vacation Rental By Owner-included policy… which states there are no refunds if reservations are cancelled. Instead, we know life happens...and we want to work with guests. As such, if, for any reason, a Guest cancels this Agreement more than one hundred-twenty (120) days from the Arrival Date, Guest will receive a refund of amounts paid, less a $500 processing fee. If the cancellation is requested 120 days or less from arrival date, all monies are forfeited unless Owner is able to re-rent the Property under the same (or better) terms and conditions of this Agreement, for the full Term reserved. If the Property is re-rented under the same (or better) terms and conditions than this Agreement, Owner will refund amounts paid, less a $500.00 processing fee.

NO PET POLICY: Please note that the owners stay in the home when it is not rented. As such, no animals - to include service animals - are allowed at the property.
