beach getaway in Corolla in the northern Outer Banks, designed for casual, memory-making family vacations. Recently refreshed for the 2026 season and self-managed by experienced hosts, our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space where families can slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the Outer Banks together.

The home features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a private pool (optional heating available), linens supplied, and is dog-friendly with approval, making it a convenient and comfortable option for families and groups visiting Corolla.

Salt Line sleeps up to 14 guests; however, due to our bunk bed setup and safety considerations, we recommend a max. of 10 adults. Groups of up to 14 are best suited for a combination of adults and kids. Only registered guests are allowed at the property, and occupancy limits apply at all times, including daytime visitors.

Salt Line is located in a welcoming Corolla neighborhood with private beach access exclusively for neighborhood guests, offering a more casual beach experience than busy public access points. The private access is just a short walk from the home, making it painless to head out for sunrise walks, afternoon swims, or fast trips back for lunch and pool time.

• The closest beach access also has a lifeguard station, providing additional safety for families with kids.

• Well-behaved dogs are considered (no other family pets due to family allergies).

House Guidelines

Salt Line is a family-aligned home designed for relaxing beach vacations — not events or sizable events.

• No events, events, or huge gatherings
• min. occupancy limits stringently enforced
• Quiet hours must be respected per local guidelines
• Minimum age to book is 25. The booking guest must stay at the property for the entire reservation and is responsible for the group.

Youth & graduation groups: We primarily host family vacation groups. Reservations consisting primarily of guests under age 21, including senior/graduation trips, require prior host approval and adequate adult supervision for the entire stay. Please send an inquiry before submitting a booking request so we can discuss your group and make sure Salt Line is a good

For guest safety and property protection, exterior security cameras are positioned at the three exterior doors. Cameras monitor entry points only. There are no cameras inside the home.

• Peak season check-in/check-out day: Fridays. Avoid the Saturday traffic!

Salt Line follows a firm cancellation policy and we are unable to make exceptions due to weather, travel issues, or personal emergencies. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance for tranquility of mind. Hurricanes and tropical storms are part of coastal travel planning, so insurance is especially recommended during hurricane season.
