Welcome to Sea Colony 27B! Not only has our entire community gotten a fresh paint job over the winter, but our unit has also gotten some updates as well. New floor throughout, a New King Bedroom, a fresh paint job, new Bathroom fixtures, and new Kitchen appliances and fixtures will greet you when you return to Sea Colony 27B this summer. We have all the basics to make your vacation comfortable and economical.



Long known as an economical Oceanfront Community, Sea Colony offers one of the most cavernous and lush grounds you will find in any other Oceanfront complex and features a gorgeous oceanfront pool and private walkway to the beach. Sliding glass doors with a full front window wall create indoor-outdoor living space in the family room. You will appreciate spending time on the enormous 9x15 balcony while you feast your eyes on the grand Atlantic Ocean. Savor the community gazebo, oceanfront pool, and amazing landscaping with broad green lawns. The location has painless access on and off the island, avoiding heavy season traffic by using Dow Rd. Ample-lighted parking for 2 cars in the parking area requires a completely displayed parking pass at all times. The HOA does check frequently during the season to protect your right to park there as a guest. Vehicles not displaying a pass will be towed.

Dedicated parking lot, stairwell to property level. Pool, Outdoor shower, boardwalk to beach, picnic grounds.



Property Level: we are a one story condo on the second level of the building.

Bedroom: King bed, Nightstands, Dresser with Mirror, ceiling fan

Full Bathroom: Bathtub with Shower, Single Vanity, NEW toilet

Kitchen: Entirely equipped kitchen, Fridge, NEW electric range, Double Sink, NEW kitchen faucet, Dishwasher, Bar seating for 2 

Dining Room: Dining Table with seating for 4

Living Room: TV, Full Size Couch Bed, 2 Chairs and Ottoman, Occasional Tables, Balcony Access

Oceanfront Balcony: access from the living room, Sturdy Dining Table with 4 seats

Washer and dryer



Parking: 2 parking spots, passes required.



Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds. 



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Check-out is by 10 am. 

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette events, sororities/fraternities 

No smoking

You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.



Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

No family pets allowed.



We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.



Things to do:

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or savor a calming ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a cozy little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famed Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, appreciating the ocean vistas, or enjoying a drink by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of eateries, an arcade, stores, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

The Neighborhood:

Sea Coast Input - Carolina Beach boardwalk offers shopping, locally owned eateries , ice cream & fudge stores and let’s not forget the vibrant nightlife. During the summer months the local gazebo has live music and bingo. Fishing charter boats, nightly event cruises, pontoon boats are also available. Or discover the Carolina Beach State Park. Neighboring Kure beach offers a striking downtown with locally owned eateries ,Oceanfront park and a 712-foot long fishing pier. Fort Fisher is located at the southern end of the island where you can visit the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum and the North Carolina Aquarium. There are roughly 10 golf courses within a 1 hour drive and for those “historic” buffs, take a day trip to Downtown Wilmington or one of the other local islands via ferry.



Getting Around:

Sea Coast Input : Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pleasure Island at an hourly rate).

Carolina / Kure Beach is conveniently navigable once you're here. Our beach towns are very accessible and family friendly for cars, bicycles and golf carts. Renting bicycles and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advance reservations are recommended beach accessories. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Carolina/Kure Beach and discover the Carolina Beach state park and its’ many hiking trails. Or the Carolina Beach Greenway walking trail.

For a day trip travel from Ft. Fisher to Southport aboard the Southport Car Ferry and their many antique stores.
