Located less than a mile north of Kitty Hawk Pier and just south of the fashionable town of Duck, this beautiful yet comfortable home features a private heated salt water pool, a hot tub, beautiful ocean vistas, and more. This conveniently positioned beach getaway melds the best of both worlds for families looking for warm and welcoming accommodations to go along with simple access to the feature that brought you to our island in the first place, the beach! Less than 200 feet from the home, guests have access to a semi-private beach walkway for use only by Southern Shores permanent residents and their guests providing some exclusivity to your beach experience and reprieve from the hordes during our busy summer season.

Guests of Blue Yonder will have their pick from four mid-level bedrooms – offering two kings, one queen, and a pyramid bunk bed, with all rooms boasting Intelligent TVs. On the top level, an open, inviting great room with more spectacular vistas provides the ideal family gathering spot after a fun-filled day in the sun. Outside, two levels of decks include both sun and covered decks, the latter with a private hot tub and all with expansive ocean vistas. When the beach has run its course with the kids, getaway to your own private heated saltwater pool.

A blue pool, blue skies, and the blue ocean are all waiting for you and your family at Blue Yonder.

The private pool is open from April 5, 2026 until October 14, 2026.

This property is pet-friendly (2 dogs max). There is an additional charge of $195 plus tax for guests bringing family pets, which will be added and collected after booking.

Mid Level: King bedroom, queen bedroom, both with Intelligent TVs. Full hall bath, King bedroom, pyramid bunk bedroom, both with Intelligent TVs and a shared Jack and Jill bath. The mid-level south deck has a sizable hot tub on the shaded deck.

Top Level: Open floor plan with connecting kitchen, living, and dining areas all with ocean vistas and deck access. The dining area features seating for 8, while the breakfast bar in the kitchen seats an additional 2. Parlor/coffee/reading nook. Sun deck features expansive vistas, a picnic table, and deck furnishings.
