The kitchen at Parrot-ise points straight at the Atlantic, the dining table seats six, and the open layout puts the cooking, the conversation, and the morning coffee in the same room six floors up. A King master plus two Queens, two full baths, and a private oceanfront balcony off the living room. Right for a family week, a reunion, or the trip that finally gets the kitchen used. Our StayMareni Guest Guide covers where to eat, what to skip, and the corners of Myrtle Beach most visitors miss.
The Space:
Parrot-ise sits oceanfront at Camelot on the sixth floor — high enough that the Atlantic runs flat across the living room slider, low enough that the beach feels close. The open-plan layout puts the kitchen, the dining table, and the living room into one continuous space, all three pointed at the ocean through the full-width sliding glass door onto the private balcony. A 55-inch LG Intelligent TV anchors the living room over a comfortable couch and accent chairs; a fresh, beachy palette runs through the whole space.
The King master sits to one side, with a private ensuite bath and its own oceanfront window — secondary ocean exposure that lets the morning light arrive without leaving the bed. The second bedroom holds two Queens with an arched white headboard against a light-blue accent wall — the kind of layout that quietly solves the family-trip math without anyone trading down. The hall bath sits next door — a full tub-shower combo with a granite-topped vanity. The kitchen is set for actual cooking: stainless steel appliances, granite counters, a Keurig already loaded for the early riser, a dishwasher, and an in-unit washer/dryer just off the kitchen. The dining table seats six straight off the living room — full eat-in capacity constructed in. Linens and towels are luxury-hotel-spec, professionally laundered. Ask about Celebration setups — balloons, decor, and the modest touches that make a milestone weekend land.
Camelot sits oceanfront in downtown Myrtle Beach — coffee, ice cream, and Bummz Beach Cafe all about a min. on foot, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and SkyWheel five down the sand, Broadway at the Beach a fast drive inland when the trip needs more than the resort delivers. Free parking in the covered garage.
The pool deck runs the whole lineup — outdoor pool, indoor heated lazy river, two hot tubs (the outdoor one fits sixteen), and an indoor heated kiddie pool. The ground-level outdoor pool sits shaded under the building, which keeps it cooler in the hot months. Above it, the oceanfront pool deck overlooks the beach, with a seasonal beachfront tiki bar, hammocks, and a wooden bench swing along the lawn. The newly refreshed exercise center stays open year-round, and an in-resort laundry room is there when the trip outlasts the suitcase.
Guest Access:
The full suite is yours — two bedrooms, two baths, a private oceanfront balcony off the open-plan living/dining/kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and Intelligent TVs in the living room and each bedroom. Dining table seats six. Full access to Camelot's water features: outdoor pool, indoor heated lazy river, two hot tubs, indoor heated kiddie pool. Two parking passes for the covered garage.
The Neighborhood:
Conveniently located oceanfront resort is located on the beach, near the hottest area in town (21st Ave. North) and located beside both Bummz Beach Cafe and Lulu's Cafe!
The Camelot Resort is located about 6 miles from Myrtle Beach State Park, about 1 mile from the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade's attractions, stores, and eateries.
Getting Around:
Finest way to get around Myrtle Beach is by car or Uber. While staying at the resort you can walk to the beach or to the following attractions or eateries.
Other Things to Note:
Welcome to Parrot-ise — sixth-floor oceanfront, freshly updated, and constructed around the way a family week actually unfolds: the kitchen, the dining table, and the living room all in the same room with the Atlantic out the slider.
WHAT'S PROVIDED
Your door code arrives on check-in day and the suite is ready when you walk in — K-cups, popcorn, and cookies on the counter, hotel-quality toiletries (shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, body wash, and lotion), and the kind of hotel-grade linens and towels we'd want for ourselves. Four bath towels per bathroom; stays of four nights or longer get a complimentary swap-out service. Pool towels are supplied in your suite April 1 through September 30, and available by request the rest of the year. High-speed WiFi runs throughout the building. Two parking passes for the complimentary covered garage. The StayMareni Guest Guide covers the dinner spots, day trips, and corners of Myrtle Beach the brochures don't bother with.
WHAT'S NOT PROVIDED
A few things we don't stock so you can plan ahead: cooking oils, butter, salt and pepper, and spices (bring what you'll actually use, or grab them at the grocery on the way in); beach chairs, umbrellas, or beach toys (chair units set up right on the sand); daily housekeeping (the suite is cleaned and ready before you arrive; mid-stay refreshes available on request for a modest fee); personal toiletries beyond the welcome set (toothpaste, razors, sunscreen); and TV streaming logins (sign in with your own accounts).
PEST CONTROL
Routine, preventive pest control runs every other month per suite, on the 4th Wednesday. MPG handles all in-suite scheduling — standard building maintenance, set up in advance.
GOOD TO KNOW
Two things worth knowing up front. First, Camelot's HOA requires pool bands for pool-area access — pick yours up at the front desk on arrival (not in the suite), and turn them back in at checkout. Lost bands are $25 each. Second, the parking garage uses a stable keypad code (not the rotating monthly code) and clearance is 6 ft 7 in — important for SUVs with roof racks and most vans; upsized cars can use the overflow lot directly across the street.
Friendly reminder: smoke-complimentary homes, the booking guest must be 21 or older, and Camelot now requires pool bands — pick yours up at the front desk on arrival, and turn them in on the way out (lost bands are $25 each).
Interaction with Guests:
Our hosting services, supplied by the top-rated StayMareni team, go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. Should you require any assistance or have questions, our team is just a message or phone call away.
Prior to your arrival, you'll receive a copy of our guest guide highlighting close by necessities, shopping, eateries and eateries, bars, golf courses, attractions and events, tours, theaters and shows, fishing charters, watersports, and more!
