The 11 mile post section of Nags Head is a great location of smaller family cottages and nice wide beaches ideal for a family vacation. Families will find the peaceful low-traffic non-commercial ambiance calming yet appreciate how simple it is to drive or even walk to the grocery store, eateries, the Outer Banks family YMCA, or a putt-putt course. The sizable multi-use path that parallels the Beach Road is great for running, cycling, or the walker in the family. Jockeys Ridge State Park and the sand dunes are just a mile south. Papa's Place is a great combination of accessibility and privacy with tons of diversions and commercial outlets not too far away!
