BEDROOMS
Each bedroom has high-quality linens and calm decor. The two queen rooms suit the adults, and the bunk room is made for kids. One queen room has a brick accent wall.

KITCHEN AND LIVING
The open kitchen, dining and living room is where the group comes together. Cook breakfast, set dinner for 4 at the table, then sink into the couch for a movie. Please bring your own cooking oil, salt, pepper and condiments; we leave starter coffee, paper towels and toilet paper for your first days.

OUTSIDE
Unwind on the front balcony, or step out back to the fenced garden with a table and benches, seating for 6 and an umbrella for dining outside on a mild fall evening. The garden is shared with the upstairs unit when it is booked, and dogs are not allowed in it.

GUEST ACCESS
You have the entire first-floor apartment to yourselves, all on one level, with a private entrance and keypad self check-in. Before you arrive we send a digital guidebook with everything you need, and we are available for questions throughout your stay.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Stay in the heart of downtown Charleston, about 0.9 miles from Marion Square and The Charleston Museum, near King Street`s stores and eateries. Fall is made for walking these historic streets. Our picks for families and friend groups: The Charleston Museum for a rainy afternoon, City Market (about 1.5 miles) for browsing, and Rainbow Row and White Point Garden (about 2.1 miles) for photos and a walk. Angel Oak Tree is about 12 miles away when you want a day out of town.

GETTING AROUND
Free driveway parking for 2 compact cars, plus complimentary street parking. For Angel Oak (about 12 miles), Shem Creek or Folly Beach, plan on driving; the maps in the photo gallery show the routes. Message us to arrange suitcases drop-off.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Security cameras: exterior cameras cover the side alley, and a Ring video doorbell is at the front door.
- The backyard garden is shared with the upstairs unit when it is booked.
- Driveway parking fits 2 compact cars; bigger cars can use complimentary street parking.
- Dogs only, with approval before booking. The pet fee is paid at the time of booking. No dogs on furnishings or in the garden.
- Starter supplies only: please bring cooking oil, salt, pepper and condiments.
- Check-in 4 PM, check-out 10 AM. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM.
- The booking guest must be at least 25 years old and stay at the home throughout the stay. Guests under 21 must be with a parent or legal guardian unless agreed in writing in advance.
- In hurricane season we recommend travel insurance. If a mandatory evacuation order for Charleston County is in effect during your stay, you will be refunded.
- Distances and travel times are approximate and vary with traffic, weather and route.
- For Vacation Rental By Owner or direct bookings, the 10% payment processing fee is non-returnable, even when a cancellation qualifies under the cancellation policy, because our payment processors (such as Stripe) do not refund processing costs.

✔Dogs are welcome, but prior approval is required before booking. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the furnishings or in the backyard, as it is a shared space. A pet fee will be automatically applied when you include your dog’s information in the reservation.

✔We are a pet friendly property and gladly welcome dogs. Please note that only dogs are allowed and a pet fee applies per stay.

✔Absolutely no smoking inside. Any smell of any form of smoking (tobacco, vaping, marijuana, hookah, etc) will result in additional charges.

✔Late check-out and early check-in may be available for a modest fee, depending on availability.

✔Please be aware that during a burn ban, no open flames are allowed, including propane fire pits and tables. We savor your help in keeping the community safe by following this restriction.

✔Please note that we provide a limited amount of starter supplies for your convenience, such as toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, and other basic necessities. These supplies should be sufficient for the first few days of your stay. For additional supplies, guests are encouraged to either purchase from close by stores or bring additional items with them to ensure a comfortable stay. We recommend stocking up on any items you may need during your stay, as we do not provide regular restocking of these supplies.

✔Please be aware that as the booking event, you are responsible for reimbursing any fines or costs incurred during your stay. In the event that a fine is issued, we will handle the payment and request reimbursement from you after your stay is finished.

✔IMPORTANT ANIMAL LIABILITY INDEMNIFICATION
The Property Management Company (“Manager”) does not own, keep, or control any animals allowed on the premises and shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by any animal belonging to a guest, occupant, or invitee. Guests may bring family pets onto the property only if allowed in writing by Manager or the Property Owner and only under the condition that the guest assumes full responsibility and liability for the behavior, supervision, and control of such animals.

The guest agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Property Owner and Manager, and their respective officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s costs) arising from:

-Any injury or damage caused by an animal kept or brought onto the property;
-Any failure to comply with local animal control or leash laws; or
-Any violation of the property’s pet policy or home rules.

Manager is not required to inspect, control, or monitor the presence or behavior of any animal on the premises. If Manager becomes aware of an aggressive or dangerous animal, Manager may immediately remove or require removal of the animal and/or terminate the guest’s occupancy without refund.
Guests are encouraged to carry personal liability coverage through their homeowner’s, renter’s, or travel insurance policies for potential animal-related incidents.

This clause shall survive the termination of any rental agreement or guest occupancy.
