Welcome to BIG SKY! Everyone loves the close proximity to the pretty Corolla beach, where it is never busy. Others adore my very secluded private pool and hot tub, where one can relax surrounded only by trees, covered by twinkling stars or bathed by the moonlight. But for me, the best part of my home is the BIG SKY. From the top deck, I have an unobstructed view of over 270 degrees of some of the darkest nighttime skies on the East Coast; gorgeous vistas of nighttime sky wonders…and, oh yeah, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, too!

When you tear yourself away from appreciating the heavenly skies, you will find the following layout inside:

TOP FLOORING has kitchen, walk-in pantry, dining room, living room, reading corner, master bedroom, master bath, a half bath, and a wrap around deck with outdoor seating:
- Towering 16 foot vaulted ceilings over a cavernous living room with gigantic sectional couch, huge kitchen with reverse osmosis water filtration.
- Enormous open dining room with table seating for 8 adults.
- The master bedroom (Bedroom 1) faces east for handsome sunrises, the serene spa-like master bathroom has a slipper bathtub, additional-sizable dual shower with rain shower and body jets.
- Expansive top floor deck overlooking the pool to savor the morning sun and breakfast outside.

SECOND FLOORING main entrance has a entry, a second master bedroom with private bathroom, two bedrooms with a shared bathroom, a second living room, and the washer and dryer.
- Second master bedroom (Bedroom 2) features suspended rope bed (secured to wall for comfort), walk-in closet, en-suite bathroom with tiled spa shower.
- Pirates sleep in the Pirate Room (Bedroom 3), with a single on the top and a full bunk bed.
- Mermaids (or merMEN!) sleep in the Mermaid Room (Bedroom 4), with a single bed on the top and a single on the bottom.
- Connecting the two is a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with bathtub.
- Second living room with games and books.
- Outdoor dining table on the wrap around deck overlooking the pool.
- Use of washer and dryer supplied.

GROUND FLOORING has in-law apartment with separate bedroom and kitchenette, bathroom, and living room with additional Murphy bed.
- Can’t do stairs, Grandpa? (It’s OK for me to say that, I’m a Grandpa). The ground-floor in-law suite can also be accessed without stairs.
- King size bed (Bedroom 5)
- Full bathroom with bathtub.
- Totally outfitted kitchenette.
- Substantial living and dining area, with a full size Murphy bed for additional sleeping.
- A short step out the door brings you to the pool, hot tub, poolside dining table, gas grille, and outside shower.

Linens and Towels:
- Per the reservation, one bath towel, beach towel, hand towel, and wash cloth will be supplied for each guest.
- Beds will be made prior to arrival, with the exception of the top bunk beds.
- A starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and coffee/tea are included.

FAMILY PETS: One dog is allowed subject to $150 weekly fee AND if restricted to ground floor level.

This is not a corporate vacation rental. This is my personal home, which I hope you will appreciate as much as I do. Although it is located on the only two-lane road into Corolla, it is set back comfortably enough that my guests and I are not disturbed by it. The pool and the hot tub are located behind the home, providing shielded serenity.
