FishTales is an original Outer Banks bungalow style apartment , constructed circa 1940, that sits within the Nags Head Fishing Pier property. This comfortable apartment is currently being thoughtfully remodeled alongside the pier and is set to open May 2026. You’ll adore being close to everything the pier has to offer—grab breakfast or lunch at the pier café, appreciate a drink at the tiki bar, watch the fisherman bring in their catch, or simply savor the beach!

This cozy bungalow apartment is the ideal place to hideaway with family and friends. Fish Tales can comfortably accommodate up to four guests.

Other things to note
The Fish Tales bungalow is steps from the Nags Head Pier, which is so much fun, and the event may go on into the nighttime. We would appreciate for you to be a part of the late nighttime fun, but if you’re looking to turn in early, we offer earplugs and a sound machine.
