At Last at First Flight Retreat — The Full Remodel You've Been Scrolling For

At last — the one. This oceanfront 2-bedroom has been refreshed top to bottom, all at once, and it shows: brand-new floors, all-new furnishings in every room, and new beds dressed in genuinely opulent bed linens, with plush towels to match. It reads like a design-magazine spread, and it sleeps like one too.

Hospitality in the Details

The owner's touches go past the remodel. Coffee pods come supplied for the Keurig (a traditional coffee maker stands by as well), the kitchen is equipped for a gourmet prepare, and a sizable dining table seats eight — so even at full occupancy of six, there's room to host the cousins from down the beach for dinner. Two queen bedrooms, each with a TV, plus a queen sleeper couch under the wall-mounted Intelligent TV in the living area round out the sleeping arrangements, and books, games, and puzzles cover the rainy afternoons.
Outside, Polywood table and chairs turn the private balcony into an ocean-view dining room — keep an eye out for dolphins between courses. A washer and dryer and Wi-Fi handle the rest.

First Flight Retreat Conveniences

The building delivers a exercise room, a game room, a picnic area with BBQ grilles and picnic tables, and an oceanfront walkway to the dune deck — your path to the sand. Elevator access makes arrival simple (the elevator is a community luxury, not controlled by the homeowner, and cannot be guaranteed).

About the Area

Located in Kill Devil Hills, this condo is on the beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Outer Banks Beaches, while Wright Brothers National Memorial and Seaside Art Gallery are cultural highlights. Traveling with kids? Consider Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf and Paradise Fun Park. Discover the area's water adventures with jet skiing and kayaking nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with ecotours and horse riding.
