The Rutledge Kitchen House ( c 1830 ) was restored in 2016 to the highest standards and received the esteemed Carolopolis and Pro Merito Awards from the Preservation Society of Charleston for its exceptional restoration and preservation.

We are one of very few licensed Short Term Units South of Broad. This beautiful 1830 kitchen home is located in historic Charleston in the most charming "South of Broad" district. The location is peaceful and one block from the Charleston harbor and one half block from gorgeous White Point Gardens. It is within walking distance to eateries, shopping and entertainment.

A sizable first floor contains a living / dining area featuring two enormous fireplaces
( non functioning ). A galley kitchen features a Wolf dual range and hood, Subzero refrigerator, a Bosch dishwasher and Carrera granite counters. The second floor offers a bedroom with queen bed, a refreshed hall bath with a tub shower, a comfortable den and a sunlit sunporch, ideal for a study or calming in the late afternoon. The third floor offers a master suite with a queen size bed, walk in closet, washer/ dryer and a handsome full bathroom featuring a pretty granite and glass shower.
We are located 20-30 mins. to 5 beaches. Appreciate a day at the beach.
We are located in the midst of the most beautiful, exclusive neighborhood in Charleston, surrounded by historic mansions and beautiful gardens. You will savor the quietness of the neighborhood and yet walkable to shopping on King Street, eateries and museums. You will appreciate exploring this beautiful neighborhood with its historic homes, beautiful gardens and the Battery close by.
Off street parking for one (1) car is supplied.
