Charming 3-bedroom oceanside cottage in Kitty Hawk - Vacation rental home in Kitty Hawk, NC

Located in Kitty Hawk, this home offers ocean vistas from the upper deck. It sits on the third lot back from the beach offering a getaway for guests seeking a peaceful street, but close proximity to the beach, eateries, and shopping.
This 1000 square ft beach box home features three bedrooms, including two queen beds and a twin over full bunk. The living room includes a full size pull out couch bed. One bathroom has a bathtub shower combo and an additional access from one of the queen bedrooms. The second bathroom offers a stand up shower with a second entrance from the other queen bedroom.
Laundry is on the main floor. The kitchen is entirely equipped with a standard percolator coffee maker. There are Roku streaming devices on the T.V.s in the living room and two queen bedrooms.
The home includes a screened in porch with glass windows where you can appreciate a bistro set, a settee, and a double swing. There is an upper deck with plenty of seating and vistas of the ocean.
The property is equipped with a hot water outdoor sink/fish cleaning station and a huge outdoor shower that includes a changing room.
There is a booster seat with a tray, a stroller, a pack-n-play, toddler bed rails, and a gate that can be locked going to the upper deck for families with littles. There is also a play set in the back yard(There are sand spurs in the OBX- Wear shoes!).
There are beach chairs in the outdoor closet along with an additional refrigerator and freezer(This area is guests’ responsibility to keep tidy, please).
There are two options for beach accesses. One is two homes south and across the street. It is a sandy path that leads to an opening in a dune. The only road to cross is the beach road. This is a private beach access we have permission to use. The second is .25 miles north, which is a public access that includes parking, bathrooms, and is handicapped accessible(with a enormous black mat laid across the public beach entrance to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers).
The location of this home is phenomenal. The street dead ends to townhomes, so traffic is minimal and the neighborhood is peaceful. The home is walking distance to The Black Pelican, Hurricane Mo’s, Barefoot Bernie’s, I’ve Got Your Crabs, The Outer Banks Boiling Company, Stack ‘Em High Diner, pizza places, Chinese food, and the Stores at Milepost 4.5.
This is our home away from home and we take good care of our place. We hope our guests come to adore it like their second home, too!
