Captain’s Quarters overlooks the Roanoke Sound with a spectacular sunrise view of the Washington Baum Bridge and south Nags Head. This opulent condo, located in the world-class gated marina resort of Pirate’s Cove (the “Venice of the Outer Banks” as the owners like to call it), has it all.

Wake up to ever-changing, expansive sunrise vistas of the sound. Watch the day unfold as boats, and even dolphins, glide right past your deck. Also, discover some of the best sunset viewing spots on the sound - just steps from the front door. The resort fee is supplied with your reservation and provides access to an impressive array of resort amenities such as: pool, hot tub, exercise building, playground, and (of course) the Pirates Cove Marina and Blue Water Grille.

Captain’s Quarters is owned by the family of a retired USCG Captain who served at Oregon Inlet and Cape Hatteras, and the unit is maintained to the high standard deserving of this special place. The condo is refreshed with all the upgrades – with an elevator less than 10 steps from the front door that makes unloading a breeze. Short (3-day min.) and longer stays welcome.

A primary bedroom overlooks the sound with a queen bed, ensuite bath, private porch access, desk, and a 43” TV (check the closet for sports equipment!). The second bedroom has a Queen bed, 43” TV, and direct access to the second bath. The family room features a sleeper couch, 50” TV, and a book & game collection.

A 5-min. drive provides painless access to both the beach and downtown Manteo. Appreciate Nags Head’s Jennette’s Pier with its 1,000-foot fishing pier, wide sandy beach, ample parking, and new public bath home. The Cape Hatteras National Seashore (don’t miss the lighthouse!), Pea Island, Coquina Beach, and Oregon Inlet are just a few close by beachy destinations.

Downtown Manteo provides many shopping & dining options in a appealing waterfront setting.

PLEASE NOTE that while this is not a pet-friendly unit, it is not pet complimentary (owners occasionally bring their dog). No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use. 6 guest max., 2 car max. Boat slip #68 (can accommodate boats up to 21' long) available for use. Boats and travel trailers must be stored off site (Contact Hanbury's Storage in Manteo).
