The soundfront is a short distance away and optional community amenities include a sound front pool, clubhouse, crabbing dock, private boat ramp, and sound access. Also along the sound are a picnic area, beach area, basketball courts, and volleyball courts. The lawn offers picnic tables, a grille, a boardwalk for fishing or crabbing, and benches to watch the sunsets. Area attractions include Jockeys Ridge, Roanoke Island Festival Park, NC Aquarium Elizabeth Gardens, First Flight Adventure Park, Jennette's Pier, Wright Brothers Memorial, Beach access, Dowdy Park, Bodie Island Lighthouse, The Lost Colony, Alligator River, and many eateries.

The clubhouse pool and community boat ramp are available for nominal costs. The pool is open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Availability and costs are subject to change at the discretion of the HOA.
