Appreciate the heart of Carolina Beach at Cabana De Mar from Oceanfront. Spend the morning at the beach with access from a private community boardwalk. If you need a break from the sand, you can lounge at the oceanfront pool. The kids will appreciate splashing in the pool and viewing the charming fireworks every Thursday nighttime in the summer. Walk two blocks to all the action at the famed Carolina Beach boardwalk where you can eat ice cream, visit a souvenir shop, purchase a new T-shirt, try our Famous Britts Donuts, and savor many of our local bars and eateries. Inside our compact condo, you definitely won’t forget you are on vacation with an unbeatable oceanfront view from your living room. Don't worry, groceries are a snap with elevator access to your floor. Cabana Suites 216 can’t wait to be the one you choose to make forever memories in.

Our building has security cameras monitoring the parking lot and pool.

Parking: Gated parking lot entry. First come, first serve covered parking under the building with an overflow lot across the street.

Entirely equipped kitchen for cooking meals at home. Fridge, Stove, Microwave. Stainless steel double sink with pull spray faucet. Please note there is no automatic dishwasher at this unit.

Laundry: Coin-operated washers and dryers in the common area.

Oceanfront Living Room: oceanfront balcony with Polywood pub chairs, queen couch sleeper, Dining table for 4. Intelligent TV, ceiling fan.

Queen Bedroom: wall mounted intelligent TV, ceiling fan, ensuite bath access.

Bathroom: single vanity, bathtub and shower with spray wand. Toilet.

Linens: Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.



Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Things to bring:

Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm

Check-out is by 10 am.

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Elevator Policies:

Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

Up to 2 dogs allowed Max. Animals are not allowed in the Conference Room, Lobby, or Pool. The first dog is included in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs are subject to an additional payment and restrictions! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.



Cancellation Policy:

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to fantastic coastal wildlife, or take the spectacular car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a calming visit to the beautiful town of Southport where cozy streets are filled with unique antique stores and galleries. History lovers can walk the breathtaking, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Both offer handsome opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, and spotting pelicans or even nesting loggerhead sea turtles.

Getting Around:

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in trendy spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bicycle – they're super walkable and bicycle-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bicycle routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bicycle is painless, too, with multiple local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Units are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.
