Your worries will melt away the min. you step into this beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath hideaway at the fashionable Pier View Oceanfront Condominiums in South Nags Head. Top-floor privacy and gorgeous ocean vistas from every door and window make you feel like you’ve stolen away to a bungalow by the sea. You can see the waves from each bed before your feet even hit the floor! Cavernous, functional living areas feature coastal décor that matches the sights and sounds of the waves. This beachy condo is decorated with our own ocean photography and shell artwork. (You can find more of our OBX notecards, prints, and seascape artwork at the close by shop, The Artsy Octopus!)

Appreciate your morning coffee in the sunshine right outside the front door. Have dinner and drinks on the enormous private back balcony, which spans both the living room and primary bedroom, as you watch the waves and marvel in the beautiful afterglow of the sunset.

Just load your suitcases and groceries onto the convenient cargo lift on the side of the building, which stops right outside your front door, and your vacation has begun. With direct beach access, you’re just steps away from getting your toes in the sand or cooling down in one of the two community pools. A sizable grassy area and pirate ship playground await the young at heart, and a courtyard with grilles and picnic tables sits right next to the building for your convenience.

Perfectly located at Milepost 17, you’ll be close to all necessary amenities but far enough to experience the uncrowded, casual island way of life. This area also features wide sidewalks for walking or cycling to discover one of the best parts of the Outer Banks.

WALKABLE: Jennette’s Pier - .5 mile north (home of complimentary yoga, seasonal surfing competitions and events), Outer Banks Family Pier/Fish Heads Bar & Grille- 1.5 mi. south on beach or sidewalk, eateries (Sam & Omie’s or Dune Burger - .5 mi.), ice cream (Fat Boyz - .6 mi.), groceries/convenience/souvenirs (Cahoon’s Market - .5 mi), fresh seafood (Whalebone Seafood Market - .5 mi), stores (Artsy Octopus -.6 mi, featuring local artisan gifts, including our own seascape artwork and notecards; Beach Braids hair wraps & henna - .6 mi.), and more.

Ideal layout/ and view
The unit was exactly like the photos, very gorgeously furnished and an ideal layout for us and our 17-year-old son. I really adored sitting on the balcony watching the ocean. The community grille was very useful when we wanted to prepare at home.
