In an ideal location, centrally located on a very thin strip of the island for awe-inspiring vistas and a fast walk to the Beach or the Sound. An 8 min. walk to the Ocean (with a beach cart), and a 5 min. walk to the Sound where you can launch a kayak or paddle board, (kayak cart included). (4) Bedrooms, (1) with an ensuite, (3) bathrooms, a game room w/sink & futon, open kitchen with huge granite island & super comfortable living area on the top floor, carport with outdoor shower with a dressing room & a fish cleaning room with electric, hot & cold water, a pool & hot tub with a shower for rinsing. Sunsets, star filled nights, convenience to activity's and eateries/pubs make an ideal spot for your vacation. Dine at home by utilizing the outdoor grille and picnic table or savor the entirely equipped kitchen and balcony on the top floor. There are chairs and a table on the balcony both balcony's. Linens and towels are furnished and the beds are ready for a good nights sleep. Guests furnish their own beach towels or rent them.
The grocery store, Food Lion, is 12 mins. South on route #12. A convenient store is a 5 min. walk to the Blue Whale or 1/2 mile to the Dollar General or Wave's Deli Market. Utilize the outdoor lift for your grocery's and bags. The cargo lift stops at each floor which you control with a remote. It is a quick walk to the Ocean (a beach cart is included), and an even quicker walk to the Sound! I provide a special kayak carrier on wheels to launch kayaks or paddle board in the Sound. There are marked paths to both the ocean and the Sound. An in ground private salt water pool with it's own pool shower and a hot tub is always fun. The pool has under water seating . Three stories of impressive! One open balcony with a table and comfortable seating and one screened balcony with table and seating off of the Primary Bedroom. This beach home is super clean and well maintained. The top floor vaulted ceiling, light and airy home welcomes those who savor open spaces, clean quarters - and yes, you can actually see out of these salt complimentary windows! The outdoor shower & dressing room is enormous and private. There is nothing like taking an outdoor shower. Many supplies are ready for you. Adore to fish? Wait till you see the fish cleaning room in the carport. It is screened, provides hot & cold water, electric, and a sizable work bench. Close to the fish cleaning station is a picnic table and charcoal grille. The amenities are geared for those who appreciate the outdoors as well as the comfort of the indoors. Don't rent your equipment. A paddle board, kayaks, bicycles, corn hole, beach cart, paddle board/kayak cart, and body boards are supplied. Some beach chairs supplied but there is a Wing store close by for an additional's if needed. You will enjoy the additional care put into this beach home. This is not just your basic beach home rental. U Found Dory has all the extras, just like a real home. The photos on this site are accurate and up to date.
Safe & secure. Locks on both balcony gates, two secure pool gates, & visible noninvasive outdoor security cameras overlooking the yard and carport where the kayaks, toys, bicycles, and paddle board are located and where your cars are parked. No indoor cameras, of course. No other beach home is supplied like this one. Flour, sugar, spices and so much more are supplied. Each guest adds to the pantry which is way cool! Grab a beer out of the frig in the game room. Forgot bug spray? It is probably supplied.
Do you enjoy cooking or baking? This kitchen has it all. From crock pot, to lobster pot, pancake griddle, ninja blender, waffle griddle, mixer, pie & cake pans, electric roaster, electric pressure cooker, gravy mixer...you name it! The oven is conventional/air fry/convection.
You will enjoy all the additional touches that take this from a rental home to Your Beach Home. It does not feel like a rental with bare rooms and just the basics.
