Summary:

Constructed for the slow start to a beach week — the good coffee's already in the cabinet, the Atlantic flat across the morning. 2ND Wind is newly remodeled: two bedrooms, two baths, King plus two Queens, and an open-plan living/dining/kitchen pointed at the ocean from eleven floors up. Right for a family week, a girls' weekend, or a reunion with old friends. Our locally-constructed StayMareni Guest Guide covers where to eat, what to skip, and the corners of Myrtle Beach most visitors walk past.

The Space:

2ND Wind sits eleven floors up at Camelot, with the Atlantic running unbroken across the morning. The freshly refreshed layout is bright, modern, and simple — one huge oceanfront room where the galley kitchen, the dining table, and the living room share the same view, all three framed by a single sliding-glass door onto the private balcony. A 40-inch Intelligent TV anchors the living room, and a queen sleeper couch takes the count up when the second bedroom is full.

The King master sits behind a modest oceanfront punch window — not a slider, but enough Atlantic to set the morning's tone. The second bedroom holds two Queens and a wall-mounted TV, with a side-facing window — constructed for the kids, the cousins, or the friends sharing the family-trip math. Both baths are full, the master with a granite vanity. The galley kitchen is entirely equipped for a proper meal — full-size electric range with oven, microwave, dishwasher, dark granite counters, and a breakfast-bar peninsula with stools for the morning coffee. The good coffee's already in the cabinet — a Keurig and a supplied welcome basket. Stacked in-unit washer/dryer keeps a long stay painless. Hotel-quality linens and towels in every closet, professionally laundered. Ask about our Celebration setups — balloons, decor, and the modest touches that make a birthday or anniversary land.

The walk is short in every direction. Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's, and Bummz Beach Cafe are about a min. on foot; the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and SkyWheel sit five down the sand; Broadway at the Beach is a few mins. inland by car for the nighttime that wants a different scene. Free parking in the covered garage.

The pool deck runs the whole lineup — outdoor pool, indoor heated lazy river, two hot tubs (the outdoor one fits sixteen), and an indoor heated kiddie pool. The ground-level outdoor pool sits shaded under the building, which keeps it cooler through the hot months. The oceanfront pool deck above it has palm-lined seating with hammocks and a wooden bench swing on the grass strip overlooking the beach; the seasonal beachfront tiki bar runs in season. The freshly updated exercise center is open year-round, and an in-resort laundry room covers the trips that run long.

Guest Access:

The full suite is yours — two bedrooms, two baths, a private oceanfront balcony off the open-plan living/dining/kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and Intelligent TVs in the living room and each bedroom. A queen sleeper couch takes the count to six. Full access to Camelot's water features: outdoor pool, lazy river, two hot tubs, kiddie pool. Two parking passes for the covered garage.

The Neighborhood:

Located along the beautiful coastline of Myrtle Beach, this prime spot features direct access to the soft, golden sands and the serene, azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a ideal haven for beach lovers and water enthusiasts alike, offering countless oceanside pleasures from sunbathing and swimming to leisurely strolls at sunset. The area is a vibrant blend of natural beauty and leisure, promising an idyllic getaway for those seeking the quintessential beach lifestyle.

Beyond the beach, the neighborhood is a hub of family-friendly activities and attractions. Amusement parks, water parks, and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade are just a stone's throw away, offering everything from adrenaline-pumping rides to striking stores and eateries. The iconic Sky Wheel provides impressive ocean vistas, ensuring there is never a dull moment.

Foodies and shopping aficionados will find their heaven here, with a vibrant culinary scene that caters to every palate and modren shopping destinations offering a mix of designer stores and unique local finds. Whether you are craving the freshest seafood or exploring international flavors, the area's dining options are as diverse as they are delicious.

The surrounding landscapes offer a calming escape for outdoor enthusiasts, with Myrtle Beach State Park providing nature trails, fishing piers, and picnic areas. Golfers will delight in the proximity to top-rated courses, offering challenging play amidst gorgeous surroundings. This neighborhood does not just offer a place to live; it offers a lifestyle of excitement, relaxation, and endless opportunities for creating lasting memories.

Welcome to 2ND Wind — eleven floors up, newly modernized, and constructed for the slow morning. The good coffee's already in the cabinet, and the Atlantic does the rest.

WHAT'S PROVIDED

Your door code arrives on check-in day and the suite is ready when you walk in — K-cups, popcorn, and cookies on the counter, hotel-quality toiletries (shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, body wash, and lotion), and the kind of hotel-grade linens and towels we'd want for ourselves. Four bath towels per bathroom; stays of four nights or longer get a complimentary swap-out service. Pool towels are supplied in your suite April 1 through September 30, and available by request the rest of the year. High-speed WiFi runs throughout the building. Two parking passes for the complimentary covered garage. Our locally-constructed StayMareni Guest Guide covers the dinner spots, day trips, and corners of Myrtle Beach the brochures don't bother with.

WHAT'S NOT PROVIDED

A few things we don't stock so you can plan ahead: cooking oils, butter, salt and pepper, and spices (bring what you'll actually use, or grab them at the grocery on the way in); beach chairs, umbrellas, or beach toys (chair units set up right on the sand); daily housekeeping (the suite is cleaned and ready before you arrive; mid-stay refreshes available on request for a modest fee); personal toiletries beyond the welcome set (toothpaste, razors, sunscreen); and TV streaming logins (sign in with your own accounts).

PEST CONTROL

Routine, preventive pest control runs every other month per suite, on the 4th Wednesday. MPG handles all in-suite scheduling — standard building maintenance, set up in advance.

GOOD TO KNOW

Two things worth knowing up front. First, Camelot's HOA requires pool bands for pool-area access — pick yours up at the front desk on arrival (not in the suite), and turn them back in at checkout. Lost bands are $25 each. Second, the parking garage uses a stable keypad code (not the rotating monthly code) and clearance is 6 ft 7 in — important for SUVs with roof racks and most vans; upsized cars can use the overflow lot directly across the street.

Friendly reminder: smoke-complimentary homes, the booking guest must be 21 or older, and Camelot now requires pool bands — pick yours up at the front desk on arrival, and turn them in on the way out (lost bands are $25 each).

Interaction with Guests:

Our hosting services, included by the top-rated StayMareni team, go above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. Should you require any assistance or have questions, our team is just a message or phone call away.

Prior to your arrival, you'll receive a copy of our guest guide highlighting close by necessities, shopping, eateries and eateries, bars, golf courses, attractions and events, tours, theaters and shows, fishing charters, watersports, and more!
