Sunset Haven hands it over at the front door: a first-level end unit, full of light, with a commanding view of the calming Pamlico Sound and an upsized balcony where the hot tub runs all year round — sunset soaks in July, steam rising against a January sky, no season off. Kiteboarders and paddleboarders provide the entertainment — and when watching stops being enough, Kitty Hawk Kites is right next door for units and lessons.

Three Bedrooms, Three Baths, Zero Negotiating

The enormous open floor plan holds two king bedrooms and a third with two twins — each with its own bathroom — plus a queen sleeper in the living room, comfortably hosting eight. The supplied kitchen covers both coffee factions (traditional pot and Keurig) with island seating and a separate dining area, and a washer and dryer handle the practical side. Please note the pictured fireplace is decorative and non-working, and the unit does not offer a grille.

The sound front pool and sun deck are steps away, eateries are within walking distance, and the ocean beach and Rodanthe fishing pier are an painless 8–10 min. walk — both waters, no car. Your dog is welcome too ($150 plus tax per dog).
