Westside Inn provides the ideal intimate waterfront setting for your wedding or other special event, with its gorgeous wooded setting on Roanoke Island, in the heart of North Carolina's Outer Banks. The property has cavernous lawns, a modest private beach, multiple gardens, and the most extraordinary sunsets! The owners have appreciated this property with their family throughout the years and freshly decided to open it up for others to experience the beauty and tranquility of this area. The roomy and pet-friendly home has sizable open living areas, a sunroom, 5 bedrooms, and 3 baths, bordering the Sound about 80% the length of a football field.

Featuring 3 split levels, the home offers painless separation of activities and privacy. Guests will find the great second level living area with classical style furnishings and decor, as well as the kitchen and dining area. Brew your morning coffee and savor it from the enclosed sunroom overlooking the water, or maybe while taking in the island forested vistas. The first level living space offers a private escape from Westside Inn's more populated areas. It is a great spot to watch your favorite TV show, play games, or just grab a book and appreciate the peacefulness outside the window overlooking the Sound; or just sit back and relax. This TV room is often referred to as the groom's hangout space for weddings. There are two bedrooms at the end of the hall that share a bath, one King bedroom and another that has two twin beds. Both provide linens and comfortable furnishings.

The third level is where you'll find the King En Suite bedroom with private bath that opens onto a huge deck where guests can enjoy the spectacular sights and sounds of Westside's secluded setting on the sound side or access the special bride's dressing room on the opposite side. The other two bedrooms on this level are both Queen bedrooms, offering cozy accommodations that share a full bath, plus a sound view for one. Linens and towel sets per bedroom are included.

Ground visits may be scheduled upon request a minimum of 24 hours in advance and are subject to occupancy status

Westside Inn is pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a modest one-time fee of $185, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.
