Located at 1545 Grimball Rd Ext, James Island, SC. This cavernous Home has serenity & unique kind of privacy which places you in the middle of everything and yet above, it all. It's 5 mins. from Folly Beach with Island life and only 15 mins. from downtown Charleston with its deep Southern culture. Even with all there is to do, you will adore being here tucked in, surrounded by 60' tree tops, overlooking all. If you have companions, have them look up the adjoining "Lazy Susan" 2 bdrm bungalow.
The space
A unique place has style all its own with high ceilings, big windows, room to think open thoughts. Inside it's light, surrounded by tons of 60' trees, & by bird life, (tons of red birds), all their calls and habits, create a world above that you are now in.
There's a second effect, the spiral staircase or the stronger wide staircase get you here. There's the terrace, the deck and the porch connecting you with outside. Inside it's really pleasant. People can feel so comfortable they want to "stay awhile"!

You enter either up the front spiral staircase or take your suitcases through a common area entry to the back stairway up to The Tree Top Terrace. It's protected by this humongous live Oak between you and the road in front, lined by jungle ditch and overlooks an empty field backed by forest. Pretty private and pleasant!. We are very allergic and cant take family pets.we had to give up our own. It has been decontaminated to rid any allergy contamination for health reasons so sorry we cant take pets.
