Constructed in 1908 and lovingly maintained by the Anderson family, this remarkable home is a true piece of the island's past—and a excellent place to create your own memories.

The home earned its name, “The Ark,” from a time long ago when it sheltered neighboring families during a hurricane. Its story is deeply connected to Sullivan's Island and the historic neighborhood once known locally as “Andersonville,” a name used by residents during the 19th and early 20th centuries. The home itself was constructed from Anderson lumber and remains in the Anderson family today.

At roughly 2115 square feet, The Ark combines original architectural details with the amenities of modern beach living.
