Most beaches, eateries, stores, and attractions are just a short drive away, so having a car accepts you to make the most of your stay and discover at your own pace.

Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are limited in the Outer Banks, especially during off-peak times, so we recommend having your own transportation for convenience.

For those traveling from out of town, the closest major airport is in Norfolk, VA, roughly a 2-hour drive from Kill Devil Hills.
