This residence has been a true labor of adore for our family and has been completely refreshed throughout. Constructed roughly 25 years ago—when a penthouse really meant penthouse—this two-story home stands apart from today’s typical top-floor units along the Grandiose Strand, which often mirror the floors below.

To our knowledge, The Palms Resort is the only property in Myrtle Beach offering two-story penthouse residences, and there are no other downtown oceanfront properties featuring four bedrooms and four bathrooms. This makes the unit a genuinely rare and exceptional vacation opportunity.

The home features a full-size, completely equipped kitchen, ideal for both everyday meals and entertaining. The main living area is highlighted by a dramatic two-story wall of glass, offering sweeping, unobstructed vistas of the Atlantic Ocean.

From the upsized oceanfront balconies, guests can appreciate not only the sights and sounds of the ocean, but also a one-of-a-kind perspective looking south along the coastline. Two bedrooms are oceanfront and feature private oceanfront balconies, while the two rear bedrooms offer huge windows with coastline vistas and their own modest private balconies.

The primary suite entirely embraces true penthouse living. It features a king-size bed, a cavernous private balcony, a mini-bar with refrigerator, coffee maker, and dual vanities. The ensuite bath is finished with striking granite and tile throughout, and its standout feature is the separate soaking tub and walk-in shower—both overlooking the ocean.

The kitchen has natural wood cabinetry and rare blue-and-silver granite countertops. Appliances are refreshed as needed, and all cooking silverware are supplied, making the space ideal for hosting and entertaining.

Furnishings throughout reflect a casual, tropical Tommy Bahama-inspired style. Tile floor runs throughout the unit, with the exception of carpeted stairs between levels for added safety.
