The Space:

474 Tarpon is a 6-bedroom, 3 bath, oceanfront, 24/7 beach home. Located centrally on Tarpon Blvd, this home is a golf cart ride away from the island's many amenities, golf courses and tennis/pickleball courts. In 2026 the kitchen was completely refreshed with new cabinets and countertops, in 2025 new beds and box springs were put in all bedrooms. Exterior improvements include a new back deck and boardwalk to the beach. This centrally located oceanfront home is the ideal place for your vacation and will comfortably accommodate 14.



This 6-bedroom home is set up with 2 bedrooms with a bath between on each side of the home on the 2nd floor, and 2 bedrooms with a bath between on the 1st floor. All 4 2nd-floor bedrooms have 1 queen bed, a dresser, a closet, and bedside tables on each side. The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs. 1 bedroom has 2 queen beds, 2 closets, a dresser and bedside tables. The last bedroom has 2 twin beds, a closet, and a dresser. The left bathroom upstairs has a tub shower combo, and the other bathrooms have a shower.



Features of the property include a wide-open great room with privacy in bedrooms when needed. The freshly refreshed kitchen makes it a joy to stay in and prepare, with a new oven to compliment the new cabinets and quartz countertops. The huge, open great room has plenty of natural light, a sizable dining room table, 2 couches and 2 new reclining chairs, and a 2nd table with seating for 4. Generous glass sliding doors let you take in the oceanfront view from anywhere in this room.



There is a cavernous entryway when you enter the home, a great place to take off flip flops and empty beach bags before going upstairs. The laundry room is just to the left of the main entrance in the carport and has a full-size washer and dryer and 2nd refrigerator. An ideal place to put wet beach/pool towels to have ready for the next day! The enormous screened-in porch has plenty of seating and leads directly to the propane grille and freshly updated deck and private boardwalk down to the beach. This property has 7 tv's, 1 in each bedroom and 1 in the living room. The tv's are streaming only, but the property includes YouTube TV to allow you to access your choice of live TV, Amazon Firesticks in each room with High-Speed Wireless Internet (one room has a Roku tv).



Take a walk down your private boardwalk directly onto the beach. The newly modernized deck features a place to wash the sand off your feet along with a fish fileting station with running water.



The View:

The home is backed up directly to the beach, with a expansive view of the ocean from the living room, kitchen, and two back bedrooms, really surrounding you with the ocean. One of the best vistas on Fripp Island!

Your unit is outfitted with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!
