The Flip Flop Inn is conveniently located between both bridges, for simple access to mainland and two grocery stores, Publix and Food Lion. Just up the road is Southport, 6.8 miles to oak island lighthouse, 7.1 to the Marina, 14.4 to Fort Fisher Aquarium , stores, eateries and cafes.

15 miles to Southport Ferry,great ride to Carolina Beach, in the summer onThursday nighttime they have a complimentary to public: band then fireworks and rides
