The Magical Bungalow OBX is an original OBX 'Beach Box' style home, that was re-imagined and modernized by Live Swell Custom Homes.

Our purpose is to create fresh & clean beach homes families dream about!

Please note: While remodeled, this is an older original beach home, originally constructed in 1969. As a piece of OBX history, that's OK though as it all adds to the appeal and soul of the Magical Bungalow.

Housekeeping, Maintenance, Inspection & Cleaning Notes:
We believe a very clean & functional home is of the utmost importance for our guests upon arrival. Between each guest stay our beach homes are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized & inspected.

All of our in-home housekeepers are trained in our proprietary ‘Sparkling Clean’ cleaning process and as of 2025 nearly every beach home contains at least one floor-cleaning Robot on-site. Our staff also includes a full-time licensed Builder, so if an unlikely maintenance issue does occur, you can feel confident it will be fixed fast!

As further commitment to delivering an exceptional stay a ‘Quality Assurance Inspection’ occurs prior to arrival.

Pet Friendly Guidelines:
We are pet friendly to responsible pet owners with dogs who are good travelers. Pet fee is $50 to bring one dog. If interested in bringing more than one dog, just ask! We have hosted more than one dog in the past so it may be possible.

Please note:
• Pet fee does not include excessive pet hair removal, stain removal on fabrics or droppings pick-up
