We all need an economical vacation that rejuvenates the whole family! The Simple Life is that! Is comfortable, cozy, extremely well located in a pretty, well kept neighborhood, no-nonsense- it’s simple!
It is a family friendly vacation home, not an office, however the past years many of our guests worked remotely or “attended school” while at The Simple Life, so we upgraded the WiFi - new password displayed on the new router- and added an air printer, located in the TV cabinet in the living room. Just plug it in, and go! If you need more ink and paper, please replenish and leave it for the next guests!

This beautiful property is for year around enjoyment! The Simple Life is located in the charming, wooded Sanderling section of Duck, NC, a 3 min., short, 180 yard walk to the beach on a level, tree lined street with no road to cross! The complimentary use of the Sanderling community pool and kiddie pool, an painless bicycle ride away - located directly on the Sound -is included with rental. Nature trails delight everybody. It is also a bikers heaven! Bikes can be rented at numerous rental agencies in close by Duck.

This extravagant home offers two king-size Master Bedrooms En-suite (one on each level), a queen size bedroom and a room with two twin beds. Three full bathrooms, one half bath, and a giant outdoor shower. Laundry facility with washer, dryer and ironing board. A well adored crib (our daughter's, now grown) is available. High quality 100% cotton bed linen and towels are supplied. Flat screen intelligent/Roku TVs with gazillions of streaming apps (find your favorite and go!), complimentary Wifi and super fast internet. Hundreds of books displayed on bookcases throughout the home. Wood floor throughout, ceiling fans, humongous screened dining porch, open sun deck and private covered porch off the master bedroom. Everyone finds a favorite spot, from the bookworm to the sun worshipper. Totally equipped modern kitchen, outside Bbq area with table and benches, and fish cleaning table with hose. Covered parking for numerous cars. Hundreds of books to choose from!

The entire 2600 plus Sf living space Is bright and open, with gleaming wood floors, carefully chosen art, new bathroom fixtures, lights and ceiling fans inside, cedar shakes outside so it fits ideally with the surrounding nature and well maintained neighborhood.

The open concept main level features a huge, entirely and well equipped gourmet kitchen with tons of windows, Quartz countertops, completely supplied constructed in pantry, french door refrigerator with freezer and ice maker below, and a bespoke made center island "table" for everybody to participate in the food preparation, and for casual meals. A huge dining room with wood burning fire place for chilly fall days and constructed in bookcases. The space flows into the cavernous Cathedral-ceilinged living room with a huge screened dining porch on one side, and an open sundeck surrounded by trees, with Adirondack chairs in the back.

The first master bedroom opens off the living room. It also has cathedral ceilings, ceiling fan, windows galore, a huge and private covered porch with arm chars, a brand new bathroom with double vanities, constructed in shelving and a huge open European shower complete with rain-shower head. This bathroom was a king bedroom before the recent remodel; the shower alone is ginormous! Some of our guests have been known to take videos of their appreciated ones taking a shower to show their friends at home.... This room has its private shaded deck with cozy chairs for two, overlooking the trees and the fish cleaning table below.
On this level, off the hallway from the kitchen to the stairs and the "Back of House" there Is another full bathroom with soaking tub/shower, 48” wide well lit vanity with mirrored wall cabinet, as well as a laundry room with washer and dryer, and a utility closet under the stair with spare light bulbs, flashlights, batteries, high chair and kid arm chair, and other necessities.

The upper level features three bedrooms- one king on-suite, one with two twin beds, and a queen "silent" room with no TV but WiFi - has another full bath with 48” vanity, soaking tub/shower. It also has a sizable powder room.

The outdoor shower offers a enchanting surprise, a opulent aluminum rain shower column with body sprays to help wash off the sand before entering the home. Behind this shower in the utility room are plenty of beach chairs and toys are located and a collapsible beach cart for your convenience.

There is no insurance supplied in your rental agreement for such events, however it is available at Vacation Rental By Owner and we recommend to purchase such insurance separately at your own expense.
