Management:
Our property is expertly managed by Rather Be Properties, and we’re committed to making your stay delightful and seamless. Our team is available daily from 9 AM to 9 PM to assist with any questions or requests. You can comfortably reach us through the Vrbo app, by phone, or e-mail. For any urgent issues after hours, we also offer a 24-hour emergency line, ensuring support at any time during your stay.

Pet-Friendly Accommodations:
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $325 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog

Pool:
Our private pool is seasonal, typically open from late March or early April through October, weather permitting. The exact opening and closing dates shift a little each year with the weather, so just send us a message and we`ll happily confirm the dates for your stay. Outside the season the pool is winterized and covered — the hot tub is available year-round.

Pool Heating:
Pool heating is available for $125 per day plus tax. It`s booked for the full length of your stay and needs to be requested and paid for in advance, with at least five days` notice, so we have time to bring the water up to temperature. Water temperature does depend on the weather, so we`re not able to promise an exact degree.

Hot Tub:
The hot tub is supplied in your nightly rate at no additional charge, and we turn it on ahead of your arrival.

No Adhesives on Walls or Glitter:
Do not use tape, hooks, stickers, or any other materials to attach decorations or items to the walls, as this may cause damage. Glitter is extremely difficult to clean and can cause lasting damage to furnishings and surfaces. Thank you for respecting our home and helping us provide a clean, welcoming space for every guest.

Pests:
Duck is home to midges, tiny seasonal bugs that are harmless and do not bite, but they can appear in huge numbers. To keep them out, we recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible and turning off outdoor lights at nighttime, as light attracts them. We regularly treat the area, but they may still be present outdoors. Bug spray is a great idea for enjoying the deck and pool areas. Additionally, snakes from the close by marsh can occasionally be spotted. If you see one on the property, please contact us immediately, and we will arrange for animal control to remove it.
House Rules
• Primary renter must be 21+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited.
• No events or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are stringently prohibited.
