Our freshly-refreshed historic home offers three separate 3 bedroom/3 bath units housed within the same home for a total of 9 bedrooms (each with its own FULL en-suite bathroom), 3 full kitchens, outdoor porch space off of each rental, 6 off-street parking spots, 3 washer/dryers, and all of the amenities of a boutique hotel within our handsomely appointed 1800s home.
The Space:
Cottages on Cannon is a luxury, group-friendly stay in downtown historic Charleston, created from three high-end apartments booked together. With nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms, it’s an ideal home base for elevated group trips; wedding weekends, milestone celebrations, corporate retreats, and multi-family getaways where everybody can stay together without sacrificing comfort or privacy.
Each bedroom features a very comfortable queen bed with premium linens, and every apartment includes its own full chef-ready kitchen, modren living room with cable TV, and in-unit washer/dryer giving your group the flexibility of multiple gathering spaces and the ease of a boutique-hotel-level experience. You’ll also savor fast Wi-Fi throughout and three porches with seating, ideal for slow mornings, pre-dinner drinks, or a peaceful reset between outings.
Although you’re in the heart of the city, Cottages on Cannon sits set back from the street for a more private downtown feel. The layout spans three levels, garden level, first floor, and second floor, making it simple for groups to spread out while staying connected.
We provide guest parking onsite and directly across the street, and you’re just three blocks from Upper King Street and steps from Cannonborough–Elliotborough favorites like Sugar Bakeshop (on Cannon), Ladles Soups, and J. Stark, with some of Charleston’s most sought-after dining close by, including Chubby Fish, Xiao Bao Biscuit, and Chez Nous.

Visitors can shop at Indigo & Cotton located directly next door and across from the apartment; indulge in the city’s most appealing bakery – Sugar Bakeshop - located just across the street from the home. Many of the city’s most notable eateries are located in the Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood, or an painless walk from the rental. In an October 2017 Thrillist article on where to eat in and around Charleston now – 11 of the 29 Charleston eateries listed are in easy walking distance to the home (the rest, an easy car or cab ride away): O-Ku, Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, Chez Nous, The Darling Oyster Bar, The Grocery, Indaco, The Ordinary, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Warehouse, and Leon's Oysters.
Getting Around:
We are a 5 min. walk to Upper King Street, so most guests prefer to walk and discover the city. The beach is 20 mins. away by car. There is also a complimentary shuttle offered by the city that runs along King Street to trendy stops. Bicycle units are available close by or you might appreciate trying a pedicab taxi. We offer complimentary parking on site or in the lot we manage across the street.

- You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
- You acknowledge that you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID. The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.
- You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully finished the rental agreement and included a copy of valid ID.
- Any guest who confirms a reservation will be responsible for damages in an amount outlined in the rental agreement.

We are happy to host you for your stay with us! We want every guest to enjoy a comfortable, well-kept, and relaxing experience, so we ask that you observe the following home guidelines during your stay.
1. Please respect the home and our neighbors Please be considerate of neighbors, close by residents, and other guests at all times. Loud, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior is not allowed.
2. No events or events Parties, receptions, and similar gatherings are not allowed unless approved by us in writing in advance.
3. Outdoor spaces are for peaceful enjoyment Porches and outdoor areas are intended for relaxation and casual conversation. In accordance with the Charleston County noise ordinance, peaceful hours begin at 10:00 PM. After that time, noise and music must be kept to a minimum out of respect for neighbors and other guests.
4. Please keep the property tidy Please keep the home, porches, and surrounding exterior areas clean and complimentary of trash or debris during your stay. Drinks, bottles, and personal items should not be left lying around inside or outside.
5. Please help us care for the home To protect the property, please use coasters on wooden furnishings, place coolers only in the designated outdoor area, and avoid wearing high heels inside the home. Please flush only toilet paper, do not rearrange furnishings, do not attach anything to walls, doors, or furnishings, and do not use deadbolts to hold doors open. Please do not lean on or stand on porch railings.
6. Store personal items discreetly Towels, garments, bicycles, beach gear, and other personal items should not be hung, stored, or left in exterior areas where they are visible from the street or neighboring properties. Bicycles must be stored only in approved areas.
7. No smoking, vaping, or open flames indoors Smoking, vaping, and open flames are not allowed inside the property.
8. No family pets Animals are not allowed at the property.
9. Please follow parking and car guidelines RVs, campers, boats, motorbikes, and other upsized or prohibited cars may not be operated, stored, or parked on the property. Please follow all parking instructions supplied by our team.
10. Thermostat settings must remain within range For system performance and property protection, HVAC thermostats must remain within the 69 to 76 degree range.
11. Please request approval for visitors and onsite services Reservations should reflect the correct number of overnight guests. If you would like to invite visitors to the property or arrange any onsite services, including professional photography, hair styling, or other third event salon services, please obtain host approval in advance.
12. Booking details may be requested Reservation requests may be subject to additional review. If requested, please be prepared to provide the full name of the primary guest, the total number of guests, and the reason for your stay.
13. Please report any concerns promptly Upon arrival, please let us know promptly if anything appears damaged, missing, or unsatisfactory. If any issue arises during your stay, notify us right away so we have the opportunity to help.
14. Local rules and booking terms apply Guests must comply with all applicable local rules and the booking terms in effect at the time of reservation, including the cancellation policy.
