Direct Oceanfront Condo - King Bed, Curved Balcony Over the Dunes - Vacation rental home in Myrtle Beach, SC

This is our entirely refreshed oceanfront condo on the sixth floor of the Meridian Plaza, in the heart of Myrtle Beach. The balcony looks straight out over the dunes and the Atlantic, and there are two Adirondack gliders out there. Most guests tell us that's where they spent most of their stay.

Inside, the living area is bright and open - a queen sleeper couch, a 55in Roku TV, and sliding doors to the balcony, so you can watch the sunrise or listen to the waves without getting up. The dining table seats four and sits right by the glass.

The bedroom has a king bed, a flat-screen TV, a closet, and a dresser, so there's room to actually unpack. The kitchen is compact but completely equipped, with quartz counters, an eat-up bar, and everything you need for coffee in the morning or a simple dinner in. The bathroom is bright, with a tub/shower combo and dual vanities, which makes getting ready a lot easier when there are four of you.

We stock the basics: linens, towels, starter soap and shampoo, and dishes and silverware for a full home plus kid-proof plasticware. There are also four beach chairs and a bin of beach toys for you to use while you're here.

Around the resort:
- Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, heated and open year-round
- Direct beach access, so the sand is just a short walk away
- An oceanfront lawn with loungers, umbrellas, and shaded tables
- Guest laundry on the first floor next to the indoor pool (coin-operated, and it takes cards through the Shine Pay app)
- One parking space supplied, in the garage directly across Ocean Blvd

The area is genuinely walkable. Eateries, coffee stores, ice cream, and wine bars are all within a few blocks. The Convention Center is about a 9-min. walk, the Boardwalk about 13, and Broadway at the Beach is under a mile. You're close to the action without being in the middle of it.

There's no front desk here. You'll get your door code and access instructions before you arrive, so you can head straight to the condo when you get in.

This isn't a hotel stay. It's a place we look after ourselves, and we're glad to share it.
