Just steps to the beach, Colony by the Sea Condominiums are conveniently located oceanfront in Duck. Away from the main road, they offer privacy, yet are in walking distance to the Sound side of the Island and the little town of Duck. Colony by the Sea is a favorite for guests of all ages.

Wee Duck Inn is a comfortable second floor unit, clean and gorgeously furnished, offering great vistas of the ocean and courtyard. It is ideal for a couple or modest family. Our kitchen offers everything you will need to prepare any meal. The bedroom is newly painted with freshly installed carpet, offering a queen-size bed, 26' flat screen TV, and a full master bath. The bunk beds in the hall alcove are ideal for kids & located next to a second smaller full bath. Both baths have been partially modernized with new fixtures and floor. The living area has new floor and has been freshly painted. The enormous living room accepts for very cozy accommodations, offering a queen sleep couch and two swivel chairs, 42" flat screen TV, Bluetooth stereo, and DVD player. There is a book and DVD library and some games. Free WIFI. A entirely equipped kitchen includes all major appliances and every modest appliance you will need for dining in. The private balcony is ideal for calming or dining outside. Charcoal Grills are located in the courtyard.

Our condo is gorgeously decorated with beach decor.

The view of the ocean is elegant from the second floor balcony, which is furnished with a patio table and chairs for the outside casual dining experience, and rockers for relaxing while looking out over the courtyard and ocean.

The complex features: oceanfront pool; charcoal grilles w/picnic area; coin operated laundry facility ground level under each building; playground area, and tennis; beachside outdoor showers to rinse off sand & a restroom near the pool and beach access.

Our unit is a non-smoking unit. We do not allow family pets or smoking in our unit. Linens for master bed only and towels for baths and kitchen are supplied. We also provide a gift bag with supplies such as paper towels, trash bags, toilet tissue, dish detergent and dish-washer tabs. A partial cleaning fee of $75 will be added to stays of only 2 or 3 nights. Cleaning costs are supplied for stays of 4 nights or more.

About the Area

Located in Kitty Hawk, this condo is near a water park and on the beach. Wright Brothers National Memorial and Glazin' Go-Nuts are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Nor'Banks Sailing and Children at Play Museum. Consider Tap Shack for a night out or Paradise Fun Park if you're traveling with kids. Jet skiing, kayaking, and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.
