Delight in the old-world elegance of this impressive suite within a historic brick-constructed home. With its stately fireplace, wrought-iron bed, and vivid wood floors, the room evokes a vibrant, yet restful ambiance.
The Space:
The home is a traditional Charleston single home constructed in 1852. It has been remodeled but still remains its historical appeal.
The Neighborhood:
The home is set in Radcliffeborough, one block from the Medical University of South Carolina. Vibrant eateries, bars, and stores along King Street are a 10-min. walk away. The Mace Brown Museum of Natural History is steps away.
Getting Around:
You can either walk, bicycle or Uber to most any place. Parking is supplied onsite for one car and there is street parking available for other cars. We suggest an economy size car to navigate the narrow downtown Charleston streets.
Other Things to Note:
There is a modest ensuite bathroom.
About the Area
Downtown Charleston, a neighborhood in Charleston, is home to this vacation home. Patriots Point and USS Yorktown are cultural highlights, and some of the area's notable landmarks include Charleston City Market and Fort Sumter. Check out an event or a game at North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center, and consider making time for South Carolina Aquarium, a top attraction not to be missed.
