Welcome to Sandy Paws, a relaxing pet-friendly oceanfront vacation home on the 4x4 beaches of Carova Beach, Northern Outer Banks, North Carolina. This 4,023 sq ft beach home sleeps 14 across six cavernous themed bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and was lovingly designed for families and their dogs to savor the ultimate OBX beach vacation. Heatable private pool, elevator, game room with pool table, private dune walkway to the beach, and expansive Atlantic vistas with wild horses grazing on the dune make Sandy Paws one of the most complete oceanfront units on the Northern Outer Banks. A four-wheel-drive car is required. Three-nighttime minimum stays available in spring and fall. Free pool heat available for open spring weeks.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements
Six themed bedrooms sleep 14 guests: four king bedrooms each with private bath, one twin bedroom with two twins, and one bunk room with a double and bunk bed. Every bedroom has its own private bathroom — a rare luxury in any vacation rental.
Heatable Private Pool & Outdoor Spaces
The private heatable pool features LED spa lighting and is surrounded by poolside lounge chairs. A private dune walkway leads directly to the oceanfront beach. Watch the famed Corolla wild horses graze peacefully on your dune, appreciate a oceanside picnic, or stargaze from the private spa at nighttime. Both propane and charcoal grilles, outdoor furnishings, and a picnic table round out the outdoor amenities.

The roomy kitchen is constructed for a crowd — double cooktops, double dishwashers, and double refrigerator/freezers accommodate multiple chefs with ease. Three refrigerator/freezers plus a chest freezer in the shed mean you can stock up for the entire week without a trip back to town. The dining area seats 21.
