Beachwoods is a true destination resort in a class by itself and offers possibly the most unique vacation experience on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound in the middle of a 100-acre Maritime Forest, Beachwoods Resort is surrounded by lakes, woodlands, rolling dunes and wildlife and lies adjacent to a 700-acre nature preserve. It is a hidden gem among Outer Banks resorts.

THE SPACE

Beachwoods features the biggest outdoor pool in the Outer Banks, where guests can relax on lounge chairs or play a game of shuffleboard. A favorite among families, the resort also homes a huge indoor waterpark with a hydro-jet spa, an interactive water-play structure, a current river, and a lap pool. Guests can fish or paddle boat on the on-site lake, or appreciate the lakeside lodge with its fireplace, library, card tables, game tables, and arcade.

Additionally, guests have access to a recreational park where they can play bocce ball, tennis, beach volleyball, and other games. There are also nature trails meandering through a pristine Maritime Forest making it the ideal escape for your family vacation.

Beach access is only a couple of mins. away with private beach parking across for Beachwoods guests (across the street from the Beach). If you want to visit other sections of the Beach in the Kitty Hawk area, there are any number of official beach access points.

Beachwoods is located conveniently in the middle of everything. Simple access to groceries, eateries, shopping, and close by ice cream or donut stores for those with a sweet tooth.

These dedicated 3BR/3BA units (2BR unit with Open Loft) are very huge at over 1,800sq ft. which gives your family plenty of room. These units sleep a minimum of 10 people, and depending on what week you book, some of these units can sleep up to 12 people.

An added additional that makes this a ideal unit for sizable families, or additional family and friends, is that it comes with 2 Full Kitchens, 2 Living Room areas, and 2 Dining areas, included in the privacy of a 1BR/1BA and a 2BR/2BA unit combined into a 3BR/3BA Lock-off.

All the 3BR/3BA Lock-off units at Beachwoods have the main living area on the 2nd floor, with a Loft bedroom with two single beds on the 3rd floor.

The "A" side of this 3BR/3BA lockout has a completely private and cavernous Master Bedroom with King bed and private ensuite bathroom. There is a Loft bedroom with 2 Twin beds. This lockout unit has it's own exterior entry door and is completely private.

There is a full Kitchen with a Stove, Oven, Fridge, Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee Maker, etc. Basic cooking silverware, glassware, silverware, and plates are included. Pretty much everything you need to prepare any meal you want, big or modest. There is a sizable counter with sit at bar and stools. There is also a Dining Area with huge table and seating for up to 6 people.

There is a Queen Sleeper couch in Living room. Directly off the Living Room area you have access to a porch for outdoor relaxation or dining. Another nice feature of this unit is that you have your own Washer / Dryer. All units have been newly refreshed.

The "B" side of this 3BR/3BA lockout has a bedroom with a Queen bed. This lockout unit has it's own exterior entry door and is completely private. This makes it great for visiting with In-laws or other family or friends.

There is a galley Kitchen w/full sized Fridge, Stove, Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, Coffee Maker, etc. Basic cooking silverware, glassware, silverware, and plates are supplied. Pretty much everything you need to prepare any meal you want, big or modest.

Living room area w/Queen sleeper couch and also a Dining Area with table and seating for up to 4 people.

There is a Washer / Dryer in the entryway area that is shared between the "A" and "B" units. Deck area for outdoor relaxation or dining.

UNITS / PHOTOS

Please note that this listing includes multiple weeks available. The photos reflect the interiors of multiple different units you might be assigned, depending on which specific week you book. However, these units all have the same basic floorplan (with slight differences), and the general decor and layout is reflected in the photos. If you have any questions, please feel complimentary to ask.

STAIRS / ACCESSIBILITY:

Most properties in OBX have a certain number of stairs, so that buildings are elevated and protected in case of potential flooding that could be caused by hurricanes or major storms.

Almost all the units at this resort have a certain number of stairs leading to the Front Door of the unit, and / or interior stairs to a 2nd level (3rd bedroom).

GUEST ACCESS

This is a Resort property, so your unit will be private, but Conveniences (Pools, Gym, Lodge, Game room, Playground, etc) will be shared with other Guests.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Beachwoods is professionally managed and operated by Hilton Vacation Club. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.

- Check In time is 4:00pm (or after) and check out time is 10:00am. Please check with the resort Front Desk for any possibility of earlier unit availability and / or early use of the resort amenities during check-in days.

- Please note that once you Check In and get access to your unit, if you encounter any issues or concerns regarding Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc…please contact the Front Desk / Office IMMEDIATELY. The staff members on-site provide the best opportunity to get any concerns resolved in the fastest and most efficient manner.

- Please note that some of the photos may not be from the specific unit you will be assigned. However, they do reflect the general layout you can expect from various locations in the unit.

- COMPLIMENTARY parking is supplied with this unit, up to 2 or 3 spots are available.

- There is no daily housekeeping included. However, your unit comes with its own Washer / Dryer inside the unit. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay, it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.

- Linens linens, blankets, pillows are supplied, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh linens linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although linens linens, blankets, and pillows are supplied, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.

- If you plan on using the Sleeper couch during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a bed pad for the Sleeper couch specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable additional bed.

- Pool towels are included for complimentary, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis.

- If your family owns and likes bigger Beach Towels, I recommend bringing them, along with any other Beach Blankets / Chairs / Umbrellas / Equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own Beach Chairs, Umbrellas, Equipment, etc you can rent them at numerous rental companies close by.

- Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all supplied. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. There is also a enormous super Wal-Mart conveniently located within just a couple mins. from the facility if you want to shop for any groceries or personal items you want during your stay.

- Utensils, Dishes, and some basic Pots and Pans are supplied. If something appears to be missing, you can contact the Front Desk and possibly get it dropped off (if they have it). However, if you plan on cooking a lot of meals inside your unit, or plan any special dishes, I do recommend bringing your favorite Enormous Frying pan (or Extensive Sauté Pan, Wok, Crockpot, etc, etc) for cooking. This way you will have something you are comfortable using and you will know exactly how things will prepare in it. You may also want to bring your favorite Kitchen knife(s) for food prep.

- There is an on-site pond that is outfitted with fish. You don’t need a license to fish in the pond, but it is catch and release. If you want to do some other fishing (surf, sound, pier), and keep what you catch, I’m sure you will need a fishing license. A Super Walmart is right around the corner from the property and sells licenses and gear.

- If the onsite waterpark isn't large enough for you the new and humongous H2OBX Waterpark freshly constructed in Powell's Point is only 13 miles away from Beachwoods

- If you or any members of your family savor bicycle riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bicycles (if you have the means to do so). Remember to take your bicycle locks so you can lock up your bicycles at the bicycle rack each nighttime. You can also rent bicycles from one of the close by rental companies.

- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest who will check in, along with an e-mail address to receive a personal confirmation.

- This is a timeshare resort but attending a presentation or taking a tour is NEVER required.
