Sustainable design features include a private reverse osmosis water system, on demand hot water heater, and a metal roof that's as appealing as it is efficient.

Inside, you'll find thoughtful details throughout: natural slate and bamboo floor, stained glass, bespoke constructed-ins, the list goes on! The open-concept, loft-inspired layout and high ceilings allow for an abundance of natural light. When you're not dining out at your favorite local restaurant on the island, prepare meals at home in the well-equipped kitchen with a gas range and farmhouse sink. Two living areas, one on the first floor and another on the second, provide plenty of room for spreading out. The second floor is furnished with a comfortable sectional (also 2 XL twins) in the den area, and french doors connect the space to a guest room with a Double Bed. Note, there is no separate mini-split system in this sleeping area, so the doors will likely need to stay open. Upstairs you'll find the primary suite with king bed, private bath with jetted tub, and access to a wrap-around observation deck where you can savor your morning coffee.

When you're ready to venture out, you won't have to go far to find a variety of shopping, dining and famed Ocracoke attractions. Treehouse Charlie is located on a peaceful street off Lighthouse Road, but less than a five-min. walk from Silver Lake Harbor and all the locally owned businesses that make this island community a one-of-a-kind destination.

Family Animals are not allowed. No smoking/vaping.

All linens are included and the King bed and Double bed will be made for your arrival. Sheets will be left for one of the XL twins in den/common area.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-nighttime minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival. Partials are not allowed between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
