You are only 3 blocks from the North End Pier & Grille and ~1 mile to the Boardwalk, where you can shop, dine at many local eateries, see fireworks on Thurs., rent a Kayak, paddleboard, or bicycle & watch a movie at the Lake Park during the summers. Also, on the island you can visit the NC Fort Fisher Aquarium or Civil War museum, or take the Fort Fisher Ferry to Southport to see another cozy beach town or ride another ferry to Baldhead Island to see a decommissioned lighthouse "Old Baldly". After a sun-filled day at the beach, appreciate a cookout in your private comfortable sitting area, complete with an open shower, dining table and chairs, a BBQ & mood lighting to savor while you sit and listen to the ocean waves.
