Color is one of the most powerful tools in a painter's hands. This advanced class takes you far beyond the standard color wheel and into the rich, nuanced world of color as your unique language.
We will explore temperature - how warm and cool tones can create beautiful visual tension. We will deep dive into mixing and creating sophisticated bespoke colors that harmonize.
Equally important is the magic of mixing opacity and transparency with paint selection, glazing, dilution and washes to build depth and luminosity.
You will leave finding some favorite combinations that are uniquely yours and put them to work in a small painting in class
