Hosted by History, Haunts, & Hahas!, a small, local, mom-owned business, this experience blends Charleston's haunted history, hidden history, folklore, architecture, Ghost Forensics, Ethical Storytelling, and Comic Relief into a conversation-driven walking adventure featuring three designated bar stops.

Rather than simply repeating ghost stories or moving from drink to drink, we explore the real people, events, and historical circumstances that gave rise to Charleston's legends and reported hauntings. Every ghost story is a human story, and every haunting has a history worth understanding.

Along the way, you'll learn how to really see Charleston. Hidden clues are everywhere: altered buildings, forgotten spaces, unusual architectural details, changing property lines, and historical breadcrumbs that many visitors walk right past. We'll explore what those clues reveal about Charleston's past and how they help us better understand its stories.

Through Ghost Forensics and Ethical Storytelling, guests learn how paranormal investigators evaluate unusual experiences, document claims, and distinguish documented history from folklore, local tradition, speculation, and reported paranormal activity. Discussions may include common photographic and environmental misidentifications such as pareidolia, reflections, lens flares, shadows, and camera artifacts.

Questions are encouraged. Curiosity is encouraged. Historical rabbit holes are encouraged.

Unlike heavily scripted tours, conversations often shape the journey. Routes and bar stops may vary based on guest interests, accessibility needs, venue availability, weather, city activity, special events, and the occasional irresistible Charleston rabbit hole. The start and end points remain fixed, but every experience is a little different.

The experience includes three designated bar stops with opportunities to independently purchase alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is never included in the ticket price.

Guests receive a complimentary souvenir hat at check-in and may occasionally have access to EMF readers for educational discussion and hands-on exploration. Ghost activity and equipment responses can never be guaranteed.

Stories are shared from public spaces outside landmarks and historic sites. Admission to sites is not included.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled start time.

Meet outside Tommy Condon's Irish Pub at 160 Church Street, Charleston, SC 29401, on the deck-side of the building.

Look for your guide and complimentary souvenir hats.

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to participate and should bring a valid government-issued photo ID if they wish to consume alcohol.

Alcohol is never included in the ticket price.

This experience typically lasts approximately 2 hours 15 minutes to 2 hours 45 minutes and covers about one mile of walking.

Stories are shared from public spaces outside landmarks and historic sites. Admission to sites is not included.

Tours begin promptly at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may be unable to join once the group has departed.
